VCC858 / BAUER [Camcorder - VHS-C]

List of fault symptoms:
  • Camera unit: no picture content, only white just like blanking.

  • Autofocus and zoom do not function.
  • Eject does not function.
  • Loss of picture in viewfinder on movement of flexible grip.

  • Colour fails in REC and PB.
  • Tape is partially erased in PB. (extract of circuit diagram attached)
  • No camera picture in PB in the viewfinder and at the video output. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
  • No function. Switches off after approx. 2 secs.
  • Colour difference gain/modulation axis adjustment procedure. (picture attached)
  • Excessive horizontal picture jitter and loud cylinder motor operating noises.
  • Picture in the EVF fails.

  • No signal in the viewfinder monitor, picture is only slightly bright.
