H181 / COLORTYME [TV (chassis)]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for H181 / COLORTYME.

List of fault symptoms:
  • Turns on by its self. Display reads 88 and won't go off.
  • No audio. after a while.
  • No horizontal synchronisation. (H181 tips)
  • Cycles on/off. intermittently.
  • No vertical deflection.
  • Dead. Relay latches, then unlatches.
  • Dead.
  • Reduced vertical deflection. Retrace lines. at top.
  • Relay does not unlatch.
  • Dead. Voltage at Q901-e low or missing. Voltage restored when remote pre-amp unplugged.
  • Intermittently shutsdown. Could be hours, minutes or days.
  • Shuts down (intermittently).
