TAT1051 / DANSAI [TV (Standard)]

- Insufficient picture height and loss of original tuning of the stations.
- Incorrect functions. No tuning.
- Switches to standby intermittently and remains stuck in that mode.
- Centre fram cramp.

- Unable to adjust cut off point of one of the three guns (red, green or blue) of CRT.
- No functions. Intermittently standby LED appears.
- Goes to TXT but appears negative.
- Dead.

- System not returning to TXT mode.
- Intermittent destruction of power supply components.
- Striations.

- New CRT has been fitted.
- Switches to standby by itselt usually on channel change.

- Not storing.
- Raster wide/narrow.

- No channel display and no sound or vision. Brightness can be obtained by slightly advancing the setting of the first anode control.
- Blank screen (intermittently).

- Fast hiccuping.

- Colour decoder TXT (TDA3561A).
- Tripping.
- AGC control, picture overload.
- Distorted audio.

- Set displays CH but unable to reprogram memory chip.
- Amplitude faults (super sandcastle pulses shape).
- No output from pin 26 of horizontal oscillator.
- Bright raster. Flyback lines.
- Comes on with bright green screen.

- Noisy picture and or video smearing.
- Vision buzz in audio.
- The appliance is dead but will start if you hold in switch so start contacts are made.
- Missing picture or sound and no channel display. Raster displayed if A1 control advanced.
- Stuck in standby.

- Dead. Starts after 5 mins.
- Super sandcastle.
- Low height, no picture unless A1 turned up, no tuning function.
- Modification to replace TDA4505 with TDA8305.
- Not starting up. No pulses at pin 7.
- Unwilling to power up intermittently.

- Returns to TXT but with floating header.
- Set dead. Channel 3 showing in display.

- F800 blown.
- Intermittent raster and red line.
- No energy transferred, but 20ms bursts of pulses.
- Picture suddenly goes bright and smeary.
- Defective picture horizontal centering (incorrect operation of horizontal phase control).
- No EHT. No picture. Sound OK.
- Switches to standby.
- Fizzing or squealing from the chopper transformer at switch on, possibly dying away after a few minutes or alternatively continuing for much longer, accompanied by fine tearing of verticals in the picture.
- Audio IF.
- Picture disappears after a few secs or does not appear at all.
- Reduced vertical deflection. Blank raster.
- Squealing from PSU. Trips.
- No standby via RC.
- No field drive. Field collapse.
- No picture. at start-up.
- Incorrect functions.
- Dead. Standby LED lit .
- Line pairing and vertical jitters.
- Grainy picture.
- Line transistor S/C, fuseable resistor R811 is O/C.
- Set would not come on from standby via the remote control.(It will start if precise action was applied to the mains switch).
- Audio.
- Excessive brightness. Flyback lines.
- No start up, one pulse every 300ms at pin 7.
- Destruction of line output stage.
- Excessive bright screen with only one colour (often blue).
- Poor sync and excessive gain on picture.
- Low/ high EHT.
- Goes to TXT mode but no data on screen.
- No signal at base of horizontal drive transistor.
- No vertical drive signal at pin 3 of IC100.
- Defective vertical frequency.
- Poor vertical linearity.
- Starts only after several tries.
- One colour, blue, full on.
- Black, horizontal lines drifting down screen.
