D1025TM / DELL [17" monitors]

List of fault symptoms:
  • Just whistling sound on start-up. No function.
  • Vertical deflection defective. (D1025TM tip from DELL)
  • No line output stage. Appliance wants to start, LED turns orange.

  • Horizontal foldover.

  • Reduced vertical deflection.
  • Load electrolytic C610 (390uF) is defective. Appliance does not start via Q604. No LED.
  • Dead.
  • No E/W correction.
  • LED does not light up. Does not start via Q604.
  • Q512, Q515 and Q516 becomes hot.
  • Pincushion distortion. at top.
  • Part of upper half of picture (approx. 4cm) is wavy.
  • Picture becomes more and more dark.
  • D615 becomes warm.
  • No picture. Switches to standby.
  • Dim picture.
  • A key appears on the screen if brightness and contrast are pressed. Convergence is not ok.
  • Light stripes (bright and dark, like codified Premiere Analog).
  • Mains fuses explode.
  • Main fuse fails without obvious reason.
  • No display on upper half of screen.
