2796 / EUROLINE [TV]

- No TXT. after warm-up. No start-up from standby with RC.
- Switches to standby (intermittently).
- No picture. Excessive brightness. Flyback lines.
- No horizontal synchronisation.
- Stuck in standby.
- No E/W correction. (EUROLINE - 2796 information)
- Line tearing. Faulty TXT.
- TDA4605 doesn't function correctly.
- Vertical line.
- Field collapse. Narrow display. No sound.
- Reduced vertical size.
- No vertical deflection.
- Picture shifted to the left.
- Fuse is defective.
- Vertical white stripe on upper picture edge. It pulsates only after switch off and on.
- Over scanning and poor E/W correction.
- No 33V tuning supply.
- Poor HT regulation.
- No picture just bright white screen. Sound OK.
- Dead. After switch-on standby LED blinks few times, then no function.
- High voltage does not start to oscillate.
- Mains fuse blown intermittently.
- No functions.
- Interference lines in picture. Depends on brightness.
- No HV.
- Horizontal drive fails after 20 mins.
- LED blinks in standby mode. Clicks audible. (2796 tip from EUROLINE)
- No line drive. intermittently.
- No reception. Intermittently short reception fragments
- Chirps in standby, no fault but unpleasant interference (EUROLINE - 2796 information)
- No start-up. PSU chirps.
- Reduced horizontal size. Pincushion distortion.
- Dead. after a while.
- Dead. Line collapse first.
- Search doesn't function correctly.
- After a couple of hours picture develops a black band on right side about 2" wide. Part of picture smeary and light - dark.
- PSU does not start. Pulsates. Picture too narrow, distorted and Ub too low when it does start.
- Access to the service menu.
- Intermittently blows Q602 (BU2508AF). (2796 EUROLINE repair tip)
- Picture lost after 20 mins then returns after 4-5 mins. Sound OK.
- Intermittently only noise in picture.
- Blank raster. E/W fault.
- White line top to bottom. No picture.
- Poor picture. Excessive horizontal size.

- Initially dead then frame collapse.
- No TXT.
- Dead with chopper transformer S/C.

- Q580 fails repeatedly.
- No RC functions.
- No HV. at start-up.
- No operation.
- Horizontal collapse.
- Poor picture. Audio OK .

- Power FET Q101 (2SK2545) blows repeatedly.
- Horizontal black lines on picture.
- Picture has trapezium distortion in the bottom third.
- Picture width reduced.
- Dead.
- Vertical collapse.
- Enter service mode.
- Intermittently blowing LOPT. (service info for EUROLINE -2796)
- Horizontal stripe.
- Field scan few inches across screen, no signal.
- Bars in picture.
- No vertical deflection. 2cm deflection appears after approx 5 mins in the middle
- Dark picture (intermittently). Audio OK .
- Colours red and green and blanked places on the left edge are interchanged when background is light. Sometimes horizontal sync problems (depending on brightness)
- Insufficient vertical deflection. Wrapped up and mirror character. (EUROLINE - 2796 information)
- Vertical line (picture centre).
- No picture.
- Intermittent frame collapse, then no picture.
- No vertical deflection. Horizontal stripe, maybe blinking.
- Snow in picture. Tuning OK .
- Line output transistor and chopper FET keep blowing at start up.
- Blank raster only when tuning.
- No picture. Audio OK .
