FX3720 / FIRSTLINE [TV 36/37 (34-36) cm picture]

List of fault symptoms:
  • R809 and R821 smoking after a few minutes. (FX3720 tips)
  • Tripping.
  • No function via 12/24V power supply.
  • No start-up. Display flashes .
  • BU808DFI fails every so often.
  • Dead.
  • TV does not switch on. Standby LED flickers.
  • Enter service mode.
  • No picture. Audio OK .
  • No start-up from standby.
  • Picture folds down at the bottom. Linearity and vertical position cannot be adjusted.
  • Black vertical bar. on the left.
  • Strong continuous chirp from mains transformer with normal operation. Horizontal interference lines (pinch).
  • No functions. (FX3720 tips)
  • Dark picture.
  • Does not start up. Standby LED is present at switch-on. LED becomes green for one sec., then it switches off.
  • Dead (intermittently).
  • Slow start-up.
  • No horizontal or vertical deflection.
  • Appliance stuck in BG mode.
  • Squealing noise. at start-up.
  • Dark stripes in picture after a few minutes. Growing thicker and distorting the picture.
  • Picture is instable, horizontal lines from the top to the bottom.
  • Vertical lines. Unstable picture.
  • Key-LED lights green for a short time, then becomes red.
  • Switches to protection mode. (FIRSTLINE - FX3720 information)
  • Blue screen. Flyback lines.
  • Intermittently switches off and goes to standby. If switched on again, a digit key has to be pressed on RC. (service info for FIRSTLINE -FX3720)
  • Switches to standby (after warm-up).
  • No picture. Blank raster. Audio OK .
  • Green picture. Flyback lines.
  • HV output stage (BU808DFI) defective. (service info for FIRSTLINE -FX3720)
  • 2-3 cm horizontal stripe in the middle of screen. (FX3720 tip from FIRSTLINE)
  • Line output transistor faulty.
  • No colour.
  • Vertical streaks.
  • RC is defective.
  • Unstable picture.
  • No funciona. LED en rojo
  • No start-up. LED is red .
  • Blue screen. (FX3720 tips)
  • No HV. (FIRSTLINE - FX3720 information)
  • 8V missing.
  • PSU pulsates quickly at switch on.
  • Horizontal line.
  • Vertical deflection reduced to 2-4 cm.
  • Stuck in standby. (FX3720 tips)
  • Q602 trips repeatedly.
  • Blue picture. Retrace lines.
  • No start-up from standby. LED is red . No line drive.
  • No start-up.
