F10 / FORMENTI [TV (Standard) (chassis)]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for F10 / FORMENTI.

List of fault symptoms:
  • PSU only attempts to start.
  • BU808 in line output stage heats and fails.
  • Picture shifted 3cm to the left.
  • Line output transistor (BU808DF) blows.
  • No vertical deflection.
  • No picture. after a while. Audio OK .
  • Dead. Standby LED does not light.
  • No functions. Standby LED does not light.
  • PSU trips for 30 secs then starts.
  • Power supply pulsates after switch on, even when connected to a light bulb. Standby OK.
  • No HV. after start-up.
  • PSU ticking. Standby LED flashes .
  • Dead.
  • Picture is shifted to the left.
  • No start up. LED goes out after RC is activated.
  • Shuts down. after a few hours.
  • Shuts down (after warm-up). (service info for FORMENTI -F10)
  • Turns off after a while and can be restarted. If fault PSU turns off and standby LED does not flash.
  • Switches off by itself. after a while.
  • No audio.
  • No picture. (F10 tip from FORMENTI)
  • Black stripes in right picture side, and picture has shifted to right.
  • PSU pulsates after switch on, also if loaded with incandescent lamp. Standby mode OK. (service info for FORMENTI -F10)
  • Pulsates 4 times per sec. after switch on. Red LED pulsates in synch.
  • Red LED does not light up.
  • No HV.
  • Switches to protection mode. after start-up.
  • No start-up. (F10 tips)
  • Vertical line an right side of picture.
  • No horizontal and vertical sync. Intermittent sound.
  • Horizontal picture deflection is distorted (with vertical movements on left and right sides of screen). Mains hum interference from loudspeaker. Sometimes does not start up instantly.
  • After 30 minutes switches off completely. After cooling off period, appliance can be started again.
  • No 12V at IC11 (TDA8138A).
