List of fault symptoms:
- Intermittent loss of picture on changing channels, when the channel is changed the screen is blanked in the usual way and the new channel selection number is displayed, but the screen stays blank. (part of circuit diagram displayed)

- No aerial, ok in scart. Search ok but does not stop. When cold only some sound for 3 or 4 secs.

- When the appliance has operated for a certain time a slight hum can be heard from the speaker. The volume varies on both mono and stereo.
- No picture. on the right. No E/W correction.
- Shuts down after approx 20 mins with standby light flickering. No RC operation.

- Sound becomes louder, sound crackles, OSD also changes.
- Fails completely or switches to stand-by and tries to start intermittently.

- When TV switched off by ON/OFF switch, starts up again properly. If switched off by standby power supply cuts out. It takes 5 mins before it starts up again.

- Screen is dark after switch on, after approx 10 mins it is blue with flyback lines and becomes brighter. After other 10 mins appliance functions faultlessly for 30 mins, then picture is completely bright with flyback lines. (349002 tip from HANSEATIC)

- Horizontal roll.
- Picture appears slowly. Audio OK .
- No power on AC. The majority of flyback transformers changed are not faulty.

- Good power supply 135V, 14V and 7V. No sound, no picture, IC001 has been changed. Pin 16 3V instead of 0V Q606 and Q605 0.6 on the base.
- Switches off after 15 mins and can be switched on again only after 15 mins.
- R807 o/c. D803 s/c. Value of R807 and D803.

- Brief HT after switch on then switches off.
- Appears dead but blank raster if brilliance increased.

- Power supply trips approx 3 times, then goes dead.
