- After pressing main switch, PSU makes 4 attempts to start and then stops.

- Power supply trips approx 3 times, then goes dead.

- Switches to protection mode.
- Hiccups after a few mins (picture folds over). Power supply voltage seems to collapse. Continues to do so, nothing seems to become hot.
- Flickering, horizontal black lines over the picture.
- No HV.
- Picture reduced vertically and horizontally. The remaining 2/3 is black. Sound OK.
- When tuning after finding the desired channel, if you press the memory button everything disappears instead of fixing the picture.

- No oscillation at start up.

- Shuts down after approx 20 mins with standby light flickering. No RC operation.
- LED lights up and then switches off when switching to standby. Appliance does not start up again unless it is completely switches off for 3 minutes. Functions OK if standby switching is not used.
- Shuts down. intermittently.

- Stretched field.

- Automatic channel search does not stop. Picture is black/white in operation.
- Poor vertical linearity.
- Set stuck on channel 11 and no response to either the front controls or the remote control unit.

- Brief HT after switch on then switches off.
- No start-up (intermittently).

- No picture. after warm-up.
- Black screen.
- No video signal on CRT for 3-4 mins at start up from warm or cold. Picture appears with flyback lines. (+ extract of circuit diagram)
- Intermittent picture roll. Then picture is negative and occasionally no picture.
- When the appliance has operated for a certain time a slight hum can be heard from the speaker. The volume varies on both mono and stereo.
- Switches to PAL after a long time or no sound and no RC.

- Excessive horizontal size. Pincushion distortion.

- Approx. 2cm of picture are missing on the top edge. Stripes with bright background (linearity fault).
- Horizontal roll.
- Channels change at random.
- Standby LED on for 2 secs then switches off. No start up.

- New type of stand-off resistor.
- Good power supply 135V, 14V and 7V. No sound, no picture, IC001 has been changed. Pin 16 3V instead of 0V Q606 and Q605 0.6 on the base.

- When TV switched off by ON/OFF switch, starts up again properly. If switched off by standby power supply cuts out. It takes 5 mins before it starts up again.
