  • Switches off after 15 mins and can be switched on again only after 15 mins.

  • Scart plug 1 does not work. Neutral screen with symbol 1 displayed on screen during Canal Plus or when VCR is in PB.

  • Several dry joints in HF section, on the main chassis in PSU, on line output stage and on power smoothing IC.
  • PSU chirps. LEDs flash.
  • Horizontal line or black stripe in upper part of picture. Distorted vertical deflection.

  • Streaks on picture, becomes dark and sometimes even switches off.
  • No oscillation at start up.

  • Appliance buzzes in standby. It is OK in operation.
  • LED lights up and then switches off when switching to standby. Appliance does not start up again unless it is completely switches off for 3 minutes. Functions OK if standby switching is not used.

  • Ocassionally no signal on screen. No thermal tube noise, no sound. Channel indication ok. In UHF search correct channel obtained but it disappears again after it has been stored.

  • Good power supply 135V, 14V and 7V. No sound, no picture, IC001 has been changed. Pin 16 3V instead of 0V Q606 and Q605 0.6 on the base.

  • Red standby LED flashes constantly after switch on. If it is switched on with RC, LED goes out, but appliance does not start.
  • Hum in audio. in standby.

  • There is a problem with mono/stereo identification when receiving a stereo transmission (PAL B/G).
  • Intermittent colour.

  • Volume and muting controls not responding but OSG show operation correctly.
  • Screen is dark after switch on, after approx 10 mins it is blue with flyback lines and becomes brighter. After other 10 mins appliance functions faultlessly for 30 mins, then picture is completely bright with flyback lines.
  • No brightness. intermittently.
  • Dead. Standby LED flashes .
  • When warm no sound or video. VC still 31V on the tuner, RCU does not work. When cold ok again. IC001, 002, 003, 501 have been changed.
  • Tripping.
  • 4A fuse blows on PSU.
  • Switches off. No standby display.

  • TXT switch-over is defective. Only TXT characters, or intermittently only TV picture available.
  • Screen flashes with smearing then eventually goes blank. (picture attached)

  • Intermittent Nicam sound dropout or crackling, set going off tune, picture going dark or negative.
  • No + B on the tuner.
  • Takes too long to start up. After approx. 10 min. starts up suddenly.

  • When the appliance has operated for a certain time a slight hum can be heard from the speaker. The volume varies on both mono and stereo.
