11AK10 / KITON [TV (chassis)]

  • No audio. Pulsing in speaker.
  • Bright picture. Flyback lines. No vertical deflection (intermittently).
  • No picture or very dark.
  • No vertical deflection.
  • Low output, HT 83V.
  • Low level mono sound, NICAM OK.
  • One colour missing or excessive.
  • Vertical line visible in left third of screen especially with dark pictures.
  • No picture, only OSD (green). Audio OK.
  • Reduced horizontal size. at top.
  • Shows time-out clock and will not stop search tuning.
  • No colour.
  • Foldover at top/bottom cramped.
  • Fuse F801 in PSU blown.
  • Stuck in standby.
  • Power supply transistor blows immediately at switch on.
  • Intermittent or no colour.
  • Searches for channels continuously.
  • Only 1" field scan in centre of screen.
  • No picture. after warm-up.
  • Poor power supply. Appliance remains in standby.
  • Slow tripping with HT.
  • Vertical jitter.
  • Vertical collapse.
  • Low or varying brightness.
  • Apparent arcing noise from speaker.
  • Transistor Q801 is S/C. IC801 defective.
  • No functions.
  • Dead. Smoking.
  • Reduced vertical size. Poor linearity. on upper half screen.
  • Vertical size varies. intermittently.
  • IF jungle.
  • Excessive green.
  • HI one colour.
  • Excessive blue.
  • Horizontal line. at top.
  • Goes to standby after a short period. Removing NICAM PCB stops effect, but no TXT. (11AK10 tips)
  • Top severely cramped (bottom reasonable).
  • Trips.
  • Low gain noisy picture, AGC preset works, but not setting properly.
  • Power supply tripping, no raster maybe motorboating in speaker.
  • Does not store channels or analog levels. Will store on Channel 1, but all data is also on other channels. No TXT or NICAM.
  • No luminance. intermittently.
  • Poor or no sync. If line locks, no frame sync.
  • Bright coloured raster, one colour.
  • Black lines on frame with noisy frame drive.
  • Flyback lines.
  • Q801 defective.
  • Goes to standby when VOL +/- is selected. Otherwise OK.
  • Synchronisation problems in TXT.
  • Varying heights.
  • Middle field cramped.
  • Transformer TR801 and fuse F801 fail repeatedly.
  • Pumping noises from the loudspeaker at switch on from standby.
  • One channel missing, probably NICAM.
  • Power supply.
  • Bright horizontal bar.
  • Not coming out of AV. Software switches, but line to IC401 stays high.
  • PSU pulsates.
  • Nicam and signal conditioning chips.
  • TXT.
  • Reduced vertical size at top.
  • Mains FET fails again immediately.
  • Audio stages.
  • Tilted interferences. Lines in picture via tuner and AV, depending on brightness.
  • Tripping.
  • Too much of one colour, drive control makes CRT saturate in that colour.
  • Vertical foldover at top.
  • First anode supply low.
  • Blank screen. after a while. (service info for KITON -11AK10)
  • Doubled image and picture oscillates. Vertical and horizontal lines in picture.
  • Display show locked. When unlocking, lock can change, when addressing. Not toggling.
  • One colour missing.
  • Field middle cramped.
  • Tuning locks then shutsdown.
  • Erratic operation. Intermittently switches to standby. Corrupt OSD.
  • Goes back to standby, after approx 5 secs, LED turns green and goes out slowly.
  • No picture. No OSD.
  • Noisy picture. Low gain.
  • Vertical fault. on upper half screen.
  • Low pulsing power.
  • Customer has forgotten the PIN code and install menu is locked.
  • One OSD colour missing. After CRT flash over.
  • No video. Stuck in AV. OSD OK.
  • Intermittent standby.
