CT2551 / KITON [TV]

  • Field middle cramped.

  • PSU transistor fails after start-up.
  • Trips.
  • NICAM/ZWEITON.
  • Display show locked. When unlocking, lock can change, when addressing. Not toggling.
  • Customer has forgotten the PIN code and install menu is locked.
  • Vertical collapse. at bottom.
  • Erratic operation. Intermittently switches to standby. Corrupt OSD.
  • Power supply transistor blows immediately at switch on.
  • Reduced vertical size at top.
  • Slow tripping with HT.

  • Low general saturation level - CRT base.
  • Goes back to standby, after approx 5 secs, LED turns green and goes out slowly.
  • Excessive green.
  • No luminance. intermittently.
  • Too much of one colour, drive control makes CRT saturate in that colour.
  • Dead. after lightning strike.
  • Top severely cramped (bottom reasonable).
  • Enter service mode.
  • Vertical line. on upper half screen.
  • PSU fails.
  • Stuck in standby.
  • Defective BUZ77B.
  • No blue.
  • Frame cramped, foldover bright at centre and curving in from horizontal edges.
  • CRT base, auto greyscale.
  • No picture.
  • Lines in picture. in the centre.
  • Stuck in standby, comes out, but immediately goes back to standby. LED flashes and sound may motorboat.
  • Field shifts up.

  • Shows time-out clock and will not stop search tuning.
  • Partial field collapse.
  • Q801 defective.

  • Foldover at top/bottom cramped.
  • Searches for channels continuously.
  • Reduced horizontal size. at top.
  • Vertical fault. on upper half screen.
  • Black lines on frame with noisy frame drive.
  • Vertical size varies.
  • Middle field cramped.
  • Bright coloured raster, one colour.
  • Transformer TR801 and fuse F801 fail repeatedly.
  • No audio. No picture. Standby LED lit .
  • No green.
  • Picture shifted vertically. at top.
  • Vertical size varies. intermittently.
  • Top stretched. Line pairing.

  • No line drive.
  • Video, audio I.F.
  • No tuning.
  • First anode supply low.
  • No E/W correction.
  • Picture comes in only after 20 mins after start-up and it's dim.
  • No functions.
  • Power supply.
  • PSU pulsates.

  • Snow in picture.
  • Does not store channels or analog levels. Will store on Channel 1, but all data is also on other channels. No TXT or NICAM.
  • Mains input fuse blows (OF1).

  • Tuning locks then shutsdown.
  • Pumping noises from the loudspeaker at switch on from standby.
  • Dead. Smoking.
  • No TXT.
  • Intermittent or no colour.
  • TXT.

  • Microcontroller.
  • No RC. Volume turned off.
  • Protection mode activated.

  • Intermittent standby.
  • Low brightness.
  • Transistor Q801 is S/C. IC801 defective.
  • No menu functions.

  • One colour missing or excessive.

  • Apparent arcing noise from speaker.

  • Blank screen. after a while.
  • Distorted audio.
  • Excessive red.
  • Synchronisation problems in TXT.
  • HI one colour.
  • Dead.

  • No audio. Pulsing in speaker.
