CTV5125 / KITON [TV]

supplies the following faults for CTV5125 / KITON.
List of fault symptoms:
- Horizontal line. at top. (CTV5125 tips)
- Reduced vertical size at bottom.
- Power supply.
- Too much of one colour, drive control makes CRT saturate in that colour.
- Noisy picture. Low gain.
- Stuck in standby, comes out, but immediately goes back to standby. LED flashes and sound may motorboat.
- Doubled image and picture oscillates. Vertical and horizontal lines in picture.

- No picture or very dark.
- Excessive blue.
- Bright picture. Flyback lines. No vertical deflection (intermittently).
- Power supply tripping, no raster maybe motorboating in speaker.

- Poor or no sync. If line locks, no frame sync.
- Goes to standby after a short period. Removing NICAM PCB stops effect, but no TXT.
- No colour.

- Varying heights.

- Vertical foldover at top.
- Top severely cramped (bottom reasonable).
- One colour missing, after CRT flashover.
- Low pulsing power.
- PSU error.
- Only 1" field scan in centre of screen.
- Frame cramped, foldover bright at centre and curving in from horizontal edges.
- Excessive green.
- No RC functions.
- No luminance. intermittently.
- One colour missing or excessive.
- Field shifts up.

- No RC. Volume turned off.
- Picture pumps when warm or when switch channels.
- Reduced horizontal size. at top.

- Slow tripping without HT,
- Fuse F801 in PSU blown.
- Transistor Q801 is S/C. IC801 defective.
- Black screen.
- Low output, HT 83V.
- No blue.
- Low general saturation level - CRT base.
- Grainy picture.
- No audio. Pulsing in speaker.
- Relay trips.
- Reduced vertical size at top.
- Tripping.
- Bright horizontal bar.
- Goes back to standby, after approx 5 secs, LED turns green and goes out slowly.
- PSU pulsates.
- Low brightness.
- Low level mono sound, NICAM OK.
- PSU pulsates and makes noises in standby.
- Power supply transistor blows immediately at switch on.
- Dead. after lightning strike.
- Middle field cramped.
- Field middle cramped.
- Low gain noisy picture, AGC preset works, but not setting properly.
- NICAM/ZWEITON.
- Horizontal lines on still picture. (CTV5125 tip from KITON)
- Bright coloured raster, one colour.
- Vertical fault. on upper half screen.
- Protection mode activated.
- Vertical size varies. (KITON - CTV5125 information)
- Bottom cramped (varying lower linearity).
- Excessive red.
- Microcontroller.
- Chopper FET Q801 blown.
- HI one colour.
- CRT base, auto greyscale.
- Flyback lines.
- Picture comes in only after 20 mins after start-up and it's dim.
- Defective BUZ77B.
- Transformer TR801 and fuse F801 fail repeatedly.
- No video, OSD OK, stuck in AV mode.
- One channel missing, probably NICAM.
- Standby warm.
- IF jungle.
- Takes time for picture to come on.
- Line pairing at top, linearity pulled out.
- BUZ in PSU fails immediately after start-up.
- Lines in picture. in the centre.
- No picture.
- No tuning. (KITON - CTV5125 information)
- Top stretched. Line pairing.
- Synchronisation problems in TXT.
- Not coming out of AV. Software switches, but line to IC401 stays high.
- No red.
- Blank screen. after a while.
- Mains input fuse blows (OF1).
- Dead.
- No audio (intermittently).
- Trips.
- Reduced vertical size. Poor linearity. on upper half screen.

- Does not store channels or analog levels. Will store on Channel 1, but all data is also on other channels. No TXT or NICAM.

- No audio. No picture. Standby LED lit .
- Vertical collapse.
- Picture shifted upwards, no change in linearity.
- No green.
- TXT.
- Slow tripping with HT.
- PSU fails.
- Goes to standby when VOL +/- is selected. Otherwise OK.
- Poor power supply. Appliance remains in standby.
- Tuning locks then shutsdown.
- TV switches off after a short time. LED display is red or completely off.
- Display show locked. When unlocking, lock can change, when addressing. Not toggling.
- Mains FET fails again immediately.
- Stuck in standby. Standby LED lit .
- Partial field collapse.
- Low or varying brightness.
- Vertical collapse. at bottom.
- No vertical deflection.
- Distorted audio.
- Erratic operation. Intermittently switches to standby. Corrupt OSD.
- Tilted interferences. Lines in picture via tuner and AV, depending on brightness.
- No video. Stuck in AV. OSD OK.
- Black lines on frame with noisy frame drive.
