KN2830 / KNEISSEL [TV]
The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers
supplies the following faults for KN2830 / KNEISSEL.
List of fault symptoms:
- Automatic gain control adjustment.
- Excessive horizontal size. E/W fault.
- Picture disappears after short operation time. Sound OK. Screen is dark.
- Luminance chrominance circuit adjustment.
- Switches off after approx 10 min. Standby LED goes out.
- OSD menu is shifted.
- Stuck in standby. (KN2830 tip from KNEISSEL)
- Enter service mode.
- No audio. OK via SCART .
- White balance adjustment.
- Tries to switch on then everything switches off even the LED.
- BU 508AF has or gets B-E S/C.
- No audio. Picture OK .
- Red picture with flyback lines at start-up. Picture becomes normal after few secs.
- Does not shut down.
- Dead.
- Poor picture. E/W fault. Line tearing.
- No start up. If it starts up, cannot be controlled or starts but switch transistor fails
- No vertical deflection.
- No audio. intermittently. OK via SCART .
- Shuts down (intermittently).
- Reduced vertical size.
- Audio module adjustment - Mono.
- Low brightness.
- Output levels adjustment.
- Line tearing. at top. Reduced vertical size at bottom.
- E/W circuit CI305 S/C and T302 becomes hot.
- Horizontal output transistor T302 (BU508AF) fails immediately.
- No OSD.
- G2 adjustment.
- Audio circuit adjustment - Mono.
- Poor picture. Low contrast.
- Switches on regularly then screen becomes black with three horizontal lines. No RC or manual functions accepted.
- Ground noise on sound.
- No tuning from channel 49 onwards.
- Switches to standby. after a few hours.
- No picture, only OSD. Occasionally picture appears but looses sync.
- Cuts out completely after indefinite time. Must be switched on again with mains switch.
- E/W fault.
- Black picture with TXT segments jumping on the screen.
- Dark picture. No contrast.
- Unstable OSD or picture. (service info for KNEISSEL -KN2830)
- Picture shifted horizontally. Horizontal jitter. intermittently.
- Noise in audio.
- Unstable picture. Occasionally horizontal sync flickers.
- TDA4601 fails after short time
- Geometry adjustment.
- No audio. via tuner. OK via SCART .
- How to store basic values.
- No picture. intermittently. No functions.
- White screen. after warm-up. Flyback lines. after warm-up.
- White adjustment.
- No picture. Audio OK .
- Adjusting channels.
- Delayed colour.
- East, west fault or hourglass shape.
- White frame with flyback lines. No sound.
- Very low sound with volume at maximum. Background motorboating noise.
- Does not start or starts poorly.
- No audio. OSD audio control OK.
- Audio circuit adjustment - STEREO.
- Focus adjustment.
- Slow start-up.
- Distorted audio. Volume uncontrollable.
- Stops or no functions.
- Automatic gain control adjustment.
- No audio. White screen. Flyback lines.
- No synchronisation.
- G2 adjustment.
- Incorrect syncronisms, vertical one especially.
- Unstable picture. in PIP.
- No picture. at start-up. Audio OK .
- Video intermediate frequency adjustment.
- No audio.
- Interference in picture.
