LT1772E / LIFETEC [17" monitors]
The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers
supplies the following faults for LT1772E / LIFETEC.
List of fault symptoms:
- Does not store basic values for the picture geometry in every mode. (LIFETEC - LT1772E information)
- C326 (270pF/500V) repeatedly fails.
- No function. Ticks.
- Picture is totally blurred.
- PSU switches immediately in protective mode.
- R329 (10K) on the deflection plug is burnt.
- E/W pincushion fault. Picture is too narrow. Knock sensitive.
- Lines on the left hand side of the picture edge.
- OSD cannot adjust brightness.
- Picture is distorted in DOS mode (line tearing) and shifts to the right.
- On the left approx 4cm picture content missing. In OSD only P1, P2 and P3 appear. No adjustment.
- No picture.
- Horizontal tearing.
- Spot killer function fails.
- Bright picture.
- No raster.
- Horizontal jitter. Vertical black stripe on the left side.
- Horizontal end stage transistor fails.
- E/W cannot be adjusted.
- Picture is too dark. No OSD. No HBNK at the IC1901.
- Black screen. Power LED lit .
- Picture flickers and jitters.
- Frequently failing parts: 2SD5048, R241, 3A fuse, transistor Q302 is defective.
- No picture. OSD OK .
- Picture shifted to the right. No horizontal shift control.
- Horizontal end stage fails again especially with higher resolutions.
- IC201 defective.
- OSD cannot adjust drive.
- No vertical blanking.
- No operation. No display. (LIFETEC - LT1772E information)
- Dead. LED lit for a while and slowly goes off.
- Shuts down (after start-up).
- Data to EEPROM cannot be saved. (LT1772E tips)
- No start-up.
- OSD cannot control bias.
- Line O/P transistor S/C when switched ON.
- R241 burned.
- No start up. LED lights up green.
- Pincushion distortion.
- Switches on for approx. 1 seconds and then switches to protective circuit.
- One or more RGB channels are not displayed.
- No vertical output.
- After switch on LED701 lights up for a short time. Then no function.
- No vertical deflection.
- Blue retrace lines on picture.
- No function. Green LED goes off again after switch on.
- No function. PSU makes a short attempt at starting up.
- No picture. No audio.
- Incorrect black value. Too much red, green or blue in dark part of the picture.
- Switches to protection mode.
- Geometric function defective.
- No horizontal drive signal.
- No function. Green LED fails after 4 secs.
- Spot killer defective.
- No OSD.
- No function in wide screen mode.
- Switches to standby.
- OSD cannot adjust contrast.
- Picture size defective.
- Deflection output abnormal. (LT1772E tips)
- Occasionally picture has a colour fault.
- No picture, LED comes on for approx. 4 secs then goes off.
- Reduced vertical size. (LT1772E tip from LIFETEC)
- Only a bright picture. No flyback lines. No OSD.
- Poor picture.
- PSU repair.
Netzteilreparatur.
- Starts up, runs for approx 1 second, then line drive cuts off, rest of set still runs OK.
- Dead. (service info for LIFETEC -LT1772E)
- Picture is shifted to the right. Horizontal tearing and no horizontal shift control.
- No function, no secondary voltage from the PSU.
- Q302, C326, fuse (3A) are defective. (service info for LIFETEC -LT1772E)
- Excessive horizontal size.
- HV abnormal.
- Fuse is blown, Q602 is S/C.
