MM7103 / MICROMAXX [TV]

List of fault symptoms:

- C625 get hot.
- Fine bright lines flicker on the top of picture.
- E/W fault. Excessive brightness. No brightness control.
- Dead. PSU pulsates.
- Stuck in standby.
- No start-up. LED is green.
- No picture.
- No raster. White bar at top.
- Green LED lit after switch on.
- E/W error. Picture increases.
- Increased current uptake (1-1.5A).
- No picture. No audio.
- No start up, no LED lights up. Loudspeaker crackle faintly every second.
- No start-up from standby with RC.
- Crackling from PSU when switched to standby.
- No function. Green LED lights up for a short time.
- Appliance ticks.
- PSU transistor fails immediately after start-up.
- No E/W correction.
- At max. brightness and contrast picture collapses. E/W is slightly distorted.
- Picture drops out, intermittently coloured stripes. Sound available.
- No start-up, low ticking. LED is green. Switches off immediately. LED becomes red.
- Does not start. Starts up briefly, then switches off immediately. Standby LED remains green.
- TDA8351 is defective.
- Line output stage transistor (BUH1015) fails after 30 mins. (MM7103 MICROMAXX repair tip)
- Dead or tripping. (MICROMAXX - MM7103 information)
- Starts up for a short time, then switches off again. Protective circuit switches on.
- No start-up. (MM7103 tip from MICROMAXX)
- No picture. Audio OK .

- Dark picture. intermittently.
- Horizontal size varies. Knock sensitive.
- Lack of contrast in picture and bright with flyback lines. Slight E/W fault in test picture.

- Poor start. After repeated attempts it runs perfectly again.

- Permanent cracking.

- Very distorted and fuzzy picture. Colours overmodulated.
- Thick white flyback lines in upper picture third, also via scart.
- PSU does not start. Standby LED changes from red to green when switched on via RC.
- Heater continuously on, even in standby.
- Briefly switches on from standby. LED becomes green.
- H drive is O/C after switch on and high voltage build up. Sound ok.
- Bright picture. Flyback lines.
- Excessive horizontal size. Pincushion distortion.
- Clicking noise.
- E/W fault, jagged edge in picture, flyback ines when switching.
- Line output stage does not start up.

- Vertical foldover at top.
- No vertical deflection.
- Line output stage transistor (2SC5129) fails.
- Dead after short ON and OFF. Standby only.
- Coloured circle in the picture.
- No start up. Standby LED is briefly green, then red again.
- Vertical fault. Flyback lines.
- No functions. PSU ticks.
- No picture. on upper half screen. Flyback lines.
- Dark screen. Audio OK .
- Comes on for a short time.
- Comes on for a short time. LED is green.
- No fucntion. Green LED lit after start up.
- Reduced vertical size.
- E/W fault.
- Flyback lines. at top.
- Slightly reduced picture linearity and flyback lines in upper half of picture.
- Becomes dark for approx. 2 mins after approx. 20 min.
