PT92 / NAIKO [TV (chassis)]

supplies the following faults for PT92 / NAIKO.
List of fault symptoms:
- No synchronisation. OSD and TXT OK . (PT92 tips)
- Dead with a slight squealing sound, which gets louder.
- Disable child lock.
- Protection mode activated. LED blinks .

- PSU chirps every second after switch on, LED blinks. No other function.
- Switches to protection mode.
- No picture. after a few minutes. Audio OK .
- No start-up. Green LED flashes .
- No switch on. Ticking from loudspeaker.
- Continuously blinking red LED.
- Blue display.
- Dead. Standby LED flashes .
- No function, red LED is on, sometimes only faint noise from PSU.
- No tuning.
- No start-up.
- Tries to start 2 times then switches to standby.

- Squealing from PSU.
- Starts up twice then dead.
- Reduced horizontal size. No E/W correction.

- Switches to standby. after a while.
- No line drive.
- No raster.
- No start-up from standby.
- No E/W correction. Cannot be adjusted in the service menu.
- Comes on for a short time. Burning smell.
- Line tearing.
- No picture , only lines, via AV socket.
- Excessive horizontal size. after a few hours.
- First no colours/interference, then no function.
- Horizontal linearity fault.
- Drops out.
- Peeping sound.
- No start-up (intermittently).
- Switches on. Raster appears and switches to standby after 2-3 secs.
- No start-up. LED is red .
- Dead. Standby LED does not light.
- FBT flashover.
- Smoking.
- Picture increases gradually. Linearity error and stripes in upper picture area.
- Picture is only red or green or blue with flyback lines.
- E/W fault. intermittently.
- Tripping.
- Fails after start-up.

- Reduced horizontal size. E/W distortion.
- Installation menu.
- Switches off by itself. after start-up.
- Noise and whistle from the SOPS trafo.
- Reduced vertical and horizontal size.
- Protective circuit starts up, if appliance is switched on again when warm. Red LED blinks.
- No horizontal or SDA/SCL pulses after 10 seconds.
- Blows fuse. at start-up.
- No functions.
- Horizontal collapse.
- Switches to standby (after start-up).
- Switches off by itself.
- No power up. PSU whistles every second.
- No channel storing. only on certain channels.
- Smearing in picture.
- No picture. intermittently. Audio OK .
- At switch on LEDs flash. Set dead when current is switched on. Stays in standby mode.
- Line output transistor fails repeatedly.
- No picture. via SCART.
- Blank raster. Retrace lines. Audio OK . (NAIKO - PT92 information)
- White line in the bottom half of the picture.
- No picture. after a while.
- Lines across screen then set displays a bright white raster and turned itself OFF. When switching ON again it just trips.
- No picture. Audio OK .
- Flickering picture. intermittently.
- Flickering picture. Audio OK .
- Power supply hiccups.
- Vertical collapse. (PT92 tips)
- Dark picture. Audio OK . (PT92 tips)
- No function. Standby LED does not light up. Power supply squeaks once a second.
- E/W fault.
- Brightness and contrast vary about 10mins, then picture flashing then goes out. Remains green raster and intermittently retrace lines.
- Poor synchronisation.
- Reduced vertical size.
- No picture. Bright raster. Flyback lines.
- Image white and with flyback lines and then horizontal pulsating.
- Horizontal line. in the centre.
- Picture fails intermittently, line tearing in part and sound disturbs.
- PSU pulsates. LED flickers .
- After 10mins. picture flashes and cuts out.

- Horizontal line.
- Bright white raster with flyback lines after start up, then goes to standby.
- Noise in picture.
- Bright white picture.
- All channels up to CH51 are tuned, otherwise no function.
- Shuts down.
- Squealing about once a second.
- Power supply hiccups, LED flashing.
- Flyback lines.
- Dead.
- Doesn't read DVD's. (PT92 tips)
- Sawtooth pattern when cold. Best visible in 4:3 mode. OK after a few minutes.

- Shuts down. intermittently. PSU pulsates.
- No start-up after switched off from RC. Noise from PSU in standby.

- Cannot be switched on from standby. Switches by itself to standby or sound mutes.
- Switches off by itself. intermittently.
- Attempts to start up twice and switches off.

- No functions. after lightning strike.
- Switches to protection mode (after start-up).
- Ragged picture.
- Fuse FP01 has blown
- Interference in picture.
- No colour and ragged verticals.
- RV38 value.
- Picture shifted horizontally. Horizontal foldover.
- Excessive brightness. Flyback lines. Audio OK .

- Frame has shifted downwards approx 1".
- No function. PSU ticks.
- No colour.
- Cycles on/off. (service info for NAIKO -PT92)
- Stuck in standby. Green LED fades out when switched on.
- Enter service mode.
- Trips (after start-up).
- Focus cannot be set well. It takes a long time before picture appears.
- No E/W correction.
- Reduced horizontal size. Foldover in centre of picture.
- Beep after start-up.
- Changing sound to UK standard (6MHz).
- Black band on picture with tearing effect. Intermittently picture flutters on bright scenes. Arcing noise.
- Bright raster. Retrace lines.
- Motorboating noise in audio.

- No picture. No audio.
- Trips.
- No audio. via SCART.

- Bright picture.

- Switches to standby. intermittently.
- Switches to protection mode. LED flashes repeatedly twice.
