INDIANA100 / NIKKAI [TV (chassis)]

- No channel display and no sound or vision. Brightness can be obtained by slightly advancing the setting of the first anode control.
- Brightness changes.

- Q800 S/C.
- Intermittent raster and red line.
- Incorrect functions. No tuning.
- No signal at base of horizontal drive transistor.
- Bad patterning and picture foldover in middle of raster.
- Cannot set one gun cut off.
- Goes to TXT but appears negative.
- Field collapse or part scan.

- Amplitude faults (super sandcastle pulses shape).
- No function of IC300 or corruption of IC301. Shows as going into standby.
- Occasionally dead with no channel display or goes to standby.
- Dark vertical line at right hand side of picture.
- Switches to standby.
- Switches to standby by itselt usually on channel change.
- Switches to standby. after a few minutes.
- No operation.
- Slow start-up.
- Tripping.

- Full frame collapse.
- Goes to TXT mode but no data on screen.
- Goes to TXT but frame jitters.
- Dead. Starts after 5 mins.
- Line phasing or picture shift incorrect.

- No energy transferred, but 20ms bursts of pulses.
- Set dead. Channel 3 showing in display.
- Vertical frequency incorrect.
- After a few minutes the display sticks on one channel usually AV and refuses to perform any other functions.
- New CRT has been fitted.

- No start up. Stand-by light on.

- AGC control, picture overload.

- Horizontal stages.

- Colour flashes over black and white picture intermittently.

- No text only mix mode.

- Fizzing or squealing from the chopper transformer at switch on, possibly dying away after a few minutes or alternatively continuing for much longer, accompanied by fine tearing of verticals in the picture.
- No colour.

- Squealing from PSU. Trips.
- Destruction of line output stage.
- One colour, blue, full on.
- Defective picture horizontal centering (incorrect operation of horizontal phase control).
- Missing picture or sound and no channel display. Raster displayed if A1 control advanced.
- Tries to start then shuts down. Cannot be run on dummy load.
- Width slightly low with black band on right hand side.
- No vertical deflection on bottom part of CRT screen.
- No vertical deflection when increasing voltage on CRT accelerator anode (G2). Sound ok.
- TXT lines on picture. Cramping at top.
- IF jungle IC100. TDA4505 and TDA8305.
- Vertical collapse.
- Blank screen (intermittently).
- Picture suddenly goes bright and smeary.

- No brightness control.
- HT too high at switch on and drifts down when set has warmed up.
- One of user controls (contrast, brightness or colour) is defective.
- Noisy and/or spotty picture.
- Line frequency incorrect.
- Low/ high EHT.
- Dead or poor power up.
- Striations.
- No voltage on +12V line.
- Picture disappears after a few secs or does not appear at all.
- Horizontal instability at switch on from cold. Fault disappears when warm.
- No field linearity.
- Noisy picture and or video smearing.
- Audio IF.
- Horizontal output, no EHT. (INDIANA100 tips)
- Lines in picture. at top .
- Power supply.
- Insufficient height, needs retuning.
- Tripping at 1Hz, chirping sound.
- No vertical drive signal at pin 3 of IC100.
- Striations on right hand side.
- Excessive bright screen with only one colour (often blue).
- Dead, intermittent to start with.
- No functions.
- Travelling humbar on right of screen. Visible from bottom of screen to approx 1/2 way up.
- Vision buzz in audio.
- Humbar on vertical scan.

- Set would not come on from standby via the remote control.(It will start if precise action was applied to the mains switch).
- No RC functions.
- Unwilling to power up intermittently.
- Colour decoder, non TXT (TDA3565).
- Blackened fuse.
- Tuner.
- One colour missing.
