TLG1447 / NIKKAI [TV]

supplies the following faults for TLG1447 / NIKKAI.
List of fault symptoms:
- Travelling humbar on right of screen. Visible from bottom of screen to approx 1/2 way up.
- Tuning drift or AFC not controlling.

- OSD cramped.

- No signal at base of horizontal driver transistor.
- Tuner.
- Distorted output.
- No operation.
- Low height, no picture unless A1 turned up, no tuning function.

- No voltage at +12V line.
- No sync TXT OK.
- Power supply.
- No TXT, only page number displayed.
- No OSD or no OSD colours.
- No startup contacts but powers up ok anyway.

- Bright screen. Switches off.
- No picture.
- Amplitude faults (super sandcastle pulses shape).

- Tripping at 1Hz, chirping sound. (NIKKAI - TLG1447 information)
- Faint blank raster with flyback lines, noticeable only when first anode supply turned up.
- Defective keyboard matrix.
- Uncontrollable HT.
- AFC control. Tuning drift.
- No tuning. OSD OK .
- Cannot set one gun cut off.
- No raster. Audio OK .
- Stuck in standby. intermittently.
- Unable to adjust cut off point of one of the three guns (red, green or blue) of CRT.
- Sweep tuning faults, keeps sweeping.
- Blank, lit raster with flyback lines.

- One of the primary colours (RGB) is missing.
- TXT not synchronised.

- Switches to standby. after a few minutes.
- Line frequency incorrect.
- AGC control, picture overload.

- Picture shifted vertically. Unable to adjust it to the correct position.
- Colour decoder, non TXT (TDA3565).
- Red light on, no other functions.
- Attempts to start up, without success.
- HOT inoperative.
- Flashover protection mode.
- R1329 (33R) fusible O/C. On non TXT only.
- RC handset.
- Stuck in standby.
- Indiana 200 chassis.

- One colour flashing or full on.
- No vertical deflection.
- Line phasing or picture shift incorrect.
- If appliance is switched off after warming up and switched on again after a short time, PSU does not start up. Switches on correctly in cold conditions.
- Reduced vertical deflection. Blank raster.
- Raster too wide/narrow.
- Starts up without start up contacts.

- Dead, channel indicator lit but no picture.

- No functions, display stuck.
- Low/ high EHT.
- Intermittently appliance is dead or trips.
- No audio.

- EHT low.

- Hum in audio.

- No synchronisation.
- No or low energy output.

- No energy transferred, but 20ms bursts of pulses.

- Poor linearity. Reduced vertical size.
- HOT dead.

- No line drive.
- No vertical drive signal at pin 3 of IC100.
- TV appears to go to standby.
- Video blanked out unless height increased, then no sync.

- Defective picture horizontal centering (incorrect operation of horizontal phase control).
- No output, RC.

- Not storing.
- Horizontal driver, no output.

- Tuning control, not tuning but OSD progresses.
- Modification to replace TDA4505 with TDA8305.
- Vertical frequency incorrect.
- Poor power up.
- No RC functions.
- No memory store on first attempt.

- CRT base.
- Tuning point shifted.
- Tuner band switching.
- Returns to TXT but with floating header.
- Colour decoder TXT (TDA3561A).
- Resistors R416 and R438 are blown.
- Q800 overheats.
- Striations.
- Noisy picture and or video smearing.
