CT14 / NIPPON [TV]

supplies the following faults for CT14 / NIPPON.

- No synchronisation.
- Excessive brightness with flyback lines.
- No audio (intermittently).
- Impossible to store previously tuned channels.
- No start up. Remains in standby for a long time.
- Shuts down (intermittently).

- Problems storing channels or there's a problem with tuning.
- Just noise on the screen and the station search would function.
- No channel lock.
- No raster or sound with intermittent squeal from the line output stage.

- Bright screen with flyback lines and vertical bar across screen.
- Tuning drifts.
- No horizontal deflection.
- Low contrast. No contrast control.
- TXT lines cover top 1/3 of raster.
- Impossible to switch to a channel other than 1.
- Intermittent hiccups which ends in TV switching off automatically. Button comes out of its position.
- Disable child lock.
- Dead except a click and squeal.
- No channel storage. Tunes OK.
- No line synchronisation. Muted audio.
- Low frequency noise.
- Excessive vertical size. Lines in picture.
- Excessive green. (NIPPON - CT14 information)
- Reduced horizontal size.
- Corrugated verticals.
- No tuning (intermittently).
- Caption buzz with very low sound.
- No start-up. intermittently.
- Excessive brightness. Does not turn down.
- No channel storing.
- Sound ok, but a blank screen, on turning up the first anode control (there was frame collapse).
- Reduced vertical size.
- If line drive transistor TR4 is S/C and R98 O/C.
- ON/OFF switch pops out by itself. (CT14 tip from NIPPON)
- Shuts down (after warm-up).
