55CVT 991611E / NORDMENDE [TV (Standard)]
The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers
supplies the following faults for 55CVT / NORDMENDE.
List of fault symptoms:
- No north-south correction. (extract of circuit diagram attached)
- Intense side noises from flyback transformer and appliance switches to standby. (55CVT NORDMENDE repair tip)
- Noise on audio at low volume.
- No start-up from standby. LED remains lit approx 3-4 seconds, then goes dark.
- No N/S correction.
- Setting the Secam identification: chassis.
- Linearity error. Too high picture amplitude. No E/W correction.

- Sound rustles in STEREO.
- Slightly visible vertical stripes in picture.
- Horizontal output stage transistor is defective.
- Starts up, HV is present for a few secs, then appliance switches off and PSU switches to protective circuit (NORDMENDE - 55CVT information)

- Adjusting the NTSC (3.58MHz) colour carrier trap: Chassis.

- Adjusting the PAL amplitude: chassis.
- No Tele-Dialog OSD via RC and user control.
- Main voltage (U SYST.)

- Setting the audio trap.
- No E/W distortion. E/W phase and amplitude control do not react

- Adjusting the SECAM (4.25MHz) colour carrier trap: Chassis.

- There is constantly a red "P" present on the screen.
- White adjustment: picture tube board.
- Intermittent change-over between STEREO and mono on channel 22 (ZDF) during STEREO reception. (55CVT tip from NORDMENDE)
- Intermittently picture runs through. Vertical synchronisation jitters. Intermittently two programs are jumped over during program switch-over.
