  • S2000 fails.
  • Pincushion distortion.

  • Noise in the HP power supply. The appliance goes to stand-by and starts up again. Dark screen and after 3 minutes the appliance returns to stand-by.
  • After changing FBT twice, light varies when you turn focus pot; FBT ok, after a few moments light decreases at switch on, light picture with G2 set to minimum then darkens.
  • No picture at switch on. Picture appears when changing channel.
  • At start up snowy screen with no reception. When pressing the programme keys the numbers run through continuously. No sound.
  • Picture flickers with coloured OSD (eg from a VCR).
  • Black lines on the picture. Poor sync.

  • Blackish bar after whites.

  • PSU attempts to start up at intervalls. LED lights.

  • Intermittently stripe in lower picture part.

  • No reception. in UHF.
  • Line transistor blows after 10 mins. DL11 98V instead of 200V.
  • Switches on, HV appears, then switches to standby.
  • Poor sound via loudspeaker, even when adjusting volume at maximum.
  • No function, standby point is not visible.

  • EHT S20000AF blows every three days.
  • The lamp is weak.
  • Horizontal black bars appear on screen. Parts of TXT picture are missing.

  • Memory loss with Canal Plus decoder.
  • At the start of production of the new IKC2 chassis, in TVs not fitted in series with teletext, the following components have not been fitted.
  • Vertical fault. Black screen.
  • Occasionally there is no light at all.
  • Vertical lines are distorted horizontally. E/W equalizer can not be adjusted correctly.
  • No picture. via tuner. OK via SCART .

  • US voltage is 57V. If you unplug pin 3 from the line stage transformer the voltage returns to 113V. Line stage transformer has been changed.
  • Picture vibrates in the rythme of sound.
  • Set is dead but not tripping.
  • Fuse fails.
  • Standby LED lights up and TV switches on, then 2 or 3 lines across screen and appliance switches to standby.
  • Vertical stage is stuck.
  • Vertical jitter.
  • Power supply does not go beyond 100V.
  • Amplitude varies with the voltages.

  • Siren noise in the speaker.

  • After being used for 2 to 3 weeks, the 1.6 fuse burns out when the appliance starts up.
  • TV does not start up or stops.

  • Two black bars in TXT.

  • Line transformer starts up then stops.
  • Picture position shifts vertically by approx 2cm towards the top of the screen intermittently. Position returns to normal after approx 10 mins.

  • US (110V 90º - 143V 110º) goes high after a few mins and TV trips.

  • Tripping sound from flyback transformer, sometimes no picture, another time it switches itself OFF.
  • 3cm white line at top of picture. No sound and no video, not even in scart. Green LED on.
  • Tuning drifts.
  • Programme number/AV symbol is permanently displayed.
  • Dark screen.
  • Picture with predominant yellow/green.
  • Fault at top of picture about 4cm after 30 mins.

  • After a short time the US voltage increases so that the TV cuts out.
