7551 UC7716 / NORDMENDE [TV]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for 7551 / NORDMENDE.

List of fault symptoms:
  • Bright flyback/teletext lines were present over the first couple of inches of the field scan.
  • No picture. No sound. Intermittent switch off. Picture appears after a long time.
  • Blue vertical line in the left picture half. (Convergence fault).
  • Dead. (service info for NORDMENDE -7551)
  • Picture is compressed at the bottom.
  • Tuning memory does not function.
  • Picture bowing in from both sides. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
  • After a few minutes the set loses tuning, with jumping neons and hum on field scan. (with circuit diagram extract)
  • Picture is compressed in centre.
  • Only lines visible.
  • Volume and brightness are set to max, no display.
  • Touch tuning trouble with intermittent and jumping tuning, neons varying.

With help of this list a solution is found often when NORDMENDE 7551 fails.

Chassis information is available (which chassis is built in into 7551 UC7716).
