  • Voltages are too low.

  • Vertical streaks.

  • Switches to protection mode. after a few seconds.

  • Picture switches randomly from large to small format at irregular time intervals.

  • Picture too dark and/or various irregularities in geometry, brightness and volume. Also incorrect PB from the menu or spontaneous menu action. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
  • Geometry has shifted or appliance does not switch on.

  • "PROTECT SP" displayed.
  • No picture. intermittently.
  • Switches to standby after a few secs. LED A blinks once, then LED B blinks 4 times and cycle repeats itself.
  • After setting volume to max, sound drops out, then cannot switch TV back on or it starts up but, if put into standby, does not switch on and, in this case, no front LED.
  • Switches off by itself. after a few minutes.
  • Horizontal line.
  • No HV. after a few seconds.
  • Picture disappears when vertical deflection fails, appliance cannot be switched on then. Protective switching responds at every start up.
  • Red picture with flashes. Intermittent standby. Intermittent start-up.

  • No sound on some programs or sound appears later.
  • No audio. Poor geometry.

  • Horizontal lines in zoom mode.
  • No picture, only AV OSD.
  • Very dark picture. No sound. Geometry faults.
  • Low noise in sound.
  • Blinking STEREO/NICAM LEDs in standby mode.
  • Slight hum from speakers.
  • Picture is black. Menu, OSD, text and sound OK. Channel B LED blinks 5 times.
  • Raster ringing and H-linearity. (with circuit diagram extract)
  • No picture ,OSD and Text available. LED blinks 4 times.
  • Picture appears slowly. Audio OK .
  • No function. Squeaking sound from power supply.
  • No picture. after start-up. Audio OK .
  • No function after being switched off and immediately switched on again. Applies to switch off/on with mains switch and from standby.
  • Enter service mode.
  • A & B LEDs flashing in standby causing appliance to switch on intermittently from standby.
  • No colour in main picture. PIP OK.
  • LED A blinks once, then LED B blinks 4 times. Cycles.
  • Audio fades. after a few seconds. Picture OK .
  • Switches to protection mode. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
  • Reduced vertical and horizontal size. Excessive red.
  • OSD appears in picture for 2 secs as soon as picture appears after switch on then switches to protection mode.
  • No audio. No picture.
  • Flyback lines.
  • No picture.
  • Black lines at the bottom of the picture, increase with time. (692563 OTTOVERSAND repair tip)
  • Shuts down. after start-up.
  • E/W fault. intermittently. Vertical fault. intermittently. Switches off by itself.
  • No Dynamic Noise Reduction setting with software version AE306. (692563 tips)

  • Green picture. Flyback lines.
  • RC unit.
  • Intermittentlly no function at switch on. No display (LEDs dark). If mains plug is removed and plugged in again, PSU starts up intermittently.
  • Colour and AFC fault when cold at switch over.
  • Dead.
