KVC27TD / OTTOVERSAND [TV]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for KVC27TD / OTTOVERSAND.

List of fault symptoms:
  • Brightness varies. Flyback lines. (+ extract of circuit diagram)
  • Power supply trips approx 3 times, then goes dead.

  • Circuit protectors PS601 and PS602 are open circuit.

  • Pulse on the collector of the line power transistor but stops immediately. 135V is correct. Supplies in 15V. (with circuit diagram extract)
  • No functions. Standby LED lit .
  • Picture too small. at top.

  • Intermittently poor chirping sound.

  • Screen is dark after switch on, after approx 10 mins it is blue with flyback lines and becomes brighter. After other 10 mins appliance functions faultlessly for 30 mins, then picture is completely bright with flyback lines.
  • Takes too long to start up. After approx. 10 min. starts up suddenly.

  • Impossible to receive L standard without thermal tube noise. B/G standard is received but search does not stop.
  • Stretched field.

  • Horizontal lines in the picture, weaker or stronger depending on picture content. Fault also visible in AV mode when switched to AV and no signal is present.
  • No start-up (intermittently).
  • When tuning after finding the desired channel, if you press the memory button everything disappears instead of fixing the picture.
  • No sound, visual display OK.
  • Distorted picture. Low contrast. Fault occurs intermittently. .
  • No picture. OSD and TXT OK .
  • No picture, no sound or fails when warm.
  • No power on AC. The majority of flyback transformers changed are not faulty.
  • Errors on vertical and horizontal picture.

  • Linearity fault. Upper section of picture is too wide and lower section compressed.
  • Switches to protection mode.
