KVE2561D / OTTOVERSAND [TV]

- E/W fault. after warm-up. Knock sensitive.

- Vertical collapse.
- Picture and sound appear after 2 minutes when switching over channels. (extract of circuit diagram attached)

- No reception. only on certain channels.

- Vertical linearity error in upper picture area. Test lines visible.

- Faulty on-screen display operation. When watching TV, random osd characters may appear on the screen for a few seconds. (space invaders effect). (+ extract of circuit diagram)

- Chassis demounting.
- Cycles on/off. Bright flashing raster with lines.
- Runs approx. for 2-3 min. with normal picture and sound. Stereo LEDs are flashing: A once, B three times, alternately. Switches then to standby and can be started up immediately again.
- Switches to standby after a few secs. Comes on without E/W or picture.

- 29" GX picture tube information.
- Goes immediately to protective switching after switch on. Stereo LED flash alternately 1 and 7.

- Intermittently no power on AC. Especially common when starting from cold. (picture attached)
- 3cm wide stripe of non-coloured picture on the right side of the screen.

- Faulty strobe function. The TV set may enter the strobe mode when using a remote commander for other equipment. (with circuit diagram extract)
- In text mode, a horizontal bar may be visible which is moving slowly over the screen in vertical direction. (picture attached)

- Picture jitter with certain inputs. Poor sync with VCR input, or after changing program. (extract of circuit diagram attached)
- Dead. How to carry out PSU solo test.
- Error code 13 after switch on.
- No start up. LED flashes 3 times.
- North/south correction defective.
- Faulty picture in picture/digital picture function. Greenish pip picture. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
- Switches on briefly, switches off after a few seconds. No LED display during this time. Tries to start up again and then switches off completely.

- Picture too small. Switches off by itself. intermittently. (part of circuit diagram displayed)

- No synchronisation. (KVE2561D tips)
- Enter service mode.
- High voltage builds up briefly, and switches off then after approx. 5 sec. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
- Intermittent pop noise from speakers. Pop noise resembling static discharge is audible. The noise occurs every 3 or 8 minutes. Its loudness depends on the volume setting.
- Screen blank. Sound via scart OK. No screen insertion. Picture too small, screen slightly bright. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
- EHT cuts out before set warms up. Protect mode in operation.
- Wavy picture. Vertical shaking. Fault occurs intermittently. . (picture attached)
- Cyclic colour cast and flyback lines come and go with soft transistion.

- Colours fade away.
- No picture. No OSD. Audio OK .
- No or intermittent start-up. Erratic start-up. (picture attached)
- After selecting one of the A/V inputs there is no On-screen display (OSD).
- No horizontal sync in zoom mode. (with circuit diagram extract)
- Pincushion distortion. on sides.
- Value of D682.
- No colour. Left half picture is B/W and the right half picture is magenta. TXT OK.

- No horizontal synchronisation.
- Some programme presets are linked to one another.
- Switches on, no picture, no sound, no LED, switches off after 4 secs. Process repaes itself.

- No picture. Audio OK .
- Subtitles are distorted, especially on W. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
- After short operation, approx 2-5 mins., coloured lines in picture (flashes). (with circuit diagram extract)

- Sometimes black screen and standby LED flashing. Occasionally stripes on screen (horizontal lines or bars). (picture attached)
- EHT rustle then goes dead.
- Switches automatically to standby after 10 mins. In the moment of failure short collapse of vertical deflection. (extract of circuit diagram attached)
- Two pictures are played back on top of each other. (with circuit diagram extract)
- Dark picture. Colour fault. Display OK . (picture attached)
- No colour in PB.
- Picture is intermittently vertically double. E/W collapsed.
- No colour in the VTR playback mode (PAL mode), especially with second generation copies. (with circuit diagram extract)
- Pincushion distortion.
- Top 16:9 bar is distorted in the middle of the picture towards the bottom. (extract of circuit diagram attached)
- Switches over to strobe function, if a RC of another audio/video appliance eg. VTR or CDI RC is used. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
- Dead. Short start up of HS hearable. On STEREO - LEDs no fault message displayed. (with circuit diagram extract)

- Vertikal stripe. Dark picture or blinking of standby diodes. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
- No function after switch on, picture flashes, maybe fault is not present at operation via AV. (with circuit diagram extract)

- No picture, faint flyback lines, sound OK, LED flashes 5 times, then swiches off.
