MRD920 / PACE [Sat receiver (analogue)]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for MRD920 / PACE.

List of fault symptoms:
  • Bars in picture.
  • Not tuning in mac decoded broadcasts. PAL OK.
  • Remote and manual controls are slow to respond.
  • MAC channels are missing, MAC light is lit, PAL channels ok.
  • Picture is missing and when switched to standby the LED does not light up.
  • No MAC decoder function.
  • Missing horizontal reception on voltage controlled polarisation.
  • MAC channels are missing.
  • Stuck in standby.
  • Main fuse blown.
  • Appliance is dead, LEDs lit.
  • Wandering stripes in picture, like interference.
  • No audio.
  • Horizontal channels are missing.
  • Horizontal bar on MAC picture; intermittently divides into 4-5 horizontal bars. PAL OK.
  • Vertical channels are missing.
  • LNB supply is too low.
  • No radio channels or delayed reaction to buttons. (PACE - MRD920 information)
  • Vertical polarity is missing. (MRD920 PACE repair tip)
  • Text goes on unprompted.
  • Poor mac picture.
  • Dead. (service info for PACE -MRD920)
  • "No access" message on screen in some channels.
  • MAC programmes numbers are not displayed.
  • Tuning to incorrect station.
  • Delayed reaction, poor MAC reception especially when set is cold.
  • Black screen, no menu. Choosing menu may spark some reaction.
  • Setting factory default.
  • Signal is missing, raster blank but LEDs lit.
