PRIMA / PACE [Sat /TV reception module]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for PRIMA / PACE.

List of fault symptoms:
  • Intermittently sound disappears when changing channels.
  • LNB short displayed on TV screen.
  • Restore factory settings.
  • Blue screen, no signal.
  • No picture.
  • Dead.
  • Poor picture through modulator.
  • UHF output has slight horizontal lines when using RC.
  • Low gain E-E. No UHF satellite pictures.
  • Tripping.
  • No audio. No picture.
  • Very poor RF loop through. (PRIMA PACE repair tip)
  • Patterns in picture.
  • No terrestrial channels.
  • No signal on blue background; audio mutes. When channel tuning menu selected, audio OK.
  • 3.5MHz pattern with use of SKY 10 card.
  • Dead after five mins.
