PSR900 / PACE [Sat /TV reception module]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for PSR900 / PACE.

List of fault symptoms:
  • No picture and no sound, blue screen.
  • Distorted sound via aerial lead and SCART socket in Panda function (MONO 1 is ok).
  • In a ZGA04 or with extreme cable lengths, receiver no longer switches the H level through.
  • Locking function.
  • Timer 5, 6, 7 and 8 can be programmed but do not go into function. Timer 1, 2, 3 and 4 work perfectly.
  • Q1 in the power supply gets very hot or fails after an extended operating time.
  • No picture and no sound, blue screen.
  • No functions.
  • No picture.
  • No RC functions.
  • Only E-2 visible in display.
  • Program selection 1-, 2- or 3- fig.
  • Signal and LNB voltage are missing. (PACE - PSR900 information)
  • Continuous damping with the normal VHF/UHF channels is too high.
  • No signal or LNB voltage (PSR800 only).
  • Missing characters in the LED display.
  • No signal or LNB voltage. (PSR900 only).
  • No OSD.
  • Dead.
  • Graphics are missing.
  • No audio, only noise (reacts to knocks).
  • Reset code.
  • Signal and LNB voltage is missing. (PSR800 only).
  • No functions, only "h" symbol visible in display.
  • Moire distortion via the HF modulator on programs with mono audio adjustment (e.g. Eurosport). No distortion in stereo mode or via scart.
  • General reset.
  • German channels received via Astra slot at 19.2°E.
  • No functions. PSU ticks.
  • Audio output on Mono 1 sound mode is low.
  • No picture, sound is present, blue screen.
  • Display flickers.
  • Data transfer.
  • Whistling sound in Stand-by mode, Q1 gets very hot. PSU switches off on H-level (18V).
  • No or distorted sound when operating via the aerial lead, sound is ok via scart connection.
  • LNB supply is missing. (PSR900 tip from PACE)
  • LED display is missing.
