SS6000 / PACE [Sat /TV reception module]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for SS6000 / PACE.

List of fault symptoms:
  • Poor picture, excessive spikes in the picture.
  • Impossible to switch on or to change channel. On LED does not light up while using the RC.
  • No audio.
  • Appliance hums.

  • Switching voltage increase.
  • No switch on. Standby LED lights up.
  • No function or the receiver loses the station memory.
  • General reset.
  • Channels cannot be switched over.
  • Will not switch to horizontal polarity.
  • No picture.
  • LNB output has only 12V (vertical). No switch over possible on the horizontal. V/H on screen display is ok.
  • Noisy transformer. (PACE - SS6000 information)
  • Intermittently goes to lock mode when switched on. (SS6000 PACE repair tip)
  • Fitting instructions for TE-4.
  • LOCK LED and STEREO LED light up otherwise no function possible. Possibly locked.
  • Cannot be switched to standby. No picture/sound signal can be determined via modulator or scart. No test picture via modulator. RC functions. Switchover possible.
  • LNB output only 5V.
  • Stuck in standby.
  • No LNC supply.
  • Dead.
  • No start-up.
  • No or faulty graphics.
  • To unlock parental lock without using PIN. (SS6000 tip from PACE)
