- No switch on. LED lights up briefly when switching off from mains switch. Quick thermal noise from loudspeaker. EHT hissing at switch on.
- Poor vertical stability. Fault is not permanent.
- Does not switch on but by cutting switch, light comes on for a short time and a quick tube noise is audible in speaker. At switch on EHT whistling is audible.
- No horizontal sync. Blue and red bands on picture like tearing or flag effect. Sound OK.
- Unsynchronised horizontally with blue and red bands. Tear of flag effect. Sound OK.
