C4520M ICC1L / PATHEMARCONI [TV]

• No start up and intermittently remains in standby. Channel light stays on. No sound or picture. Does start up if you keep pressing with the RC or manually.
• Saturation of picture with flyback line after a quarter of an hour.
• No picture, no sound, perfect display when you change channels.
• Raster frequency fails on some video planes.
• Very bright picture with flyback lines, G2 590V, chroma end collector voltage 195V.
• Black screen. No RGB on tube. Sound OK.
• No U1 voltage.
• Picture foldover and lack of width. Picture only appears when line transformer is touched and picture is too white. All levels are at zero, white screen. (PATHEMARCONI - C4520M information)
• Picture is like 2 superimposed diamonds. Power supply output 12 18V and U1 90V. Line BU base removed U1 160V. Lie transformer power supply output OK. When switching off TV vertical white bar.
• No scanning. No U1 210V on CL30. Other voltages ok. (C4520M PATHEMARCONI repair tip)
• No filament voltage and no EHT.
• At start up RC58, RL38 and power supply transistor B136D blow.
• Vertical amplitude missing. Poor linearity with picture foldover in upper part. (C4520M tip from PATHEMARCONI)
• Occasionally does not start up. The light comes on, the channel too but only thermal noise. If you press several times it starts up.
• No sound, dark screen. U4 11V instead of 22V, no U6 8V?
• Picture remains in B/W.
• RC transmitter works at random.
• Only snow on TV, ok in AV. Channel numbers are not lit.
• Line amplitude too large. Picture and sound ok, 124V set.
• No excessive contrast.
• Picture cuts out for a very short time. (service info for PATHEMARCONI -C4520M)
• No picture. Sound ok.
• Transistor to replace line transformer MJ10011 (fit with Darlington). The BU500D do not function.
• At switch on brightness is very weak then slowly it gets stronger and there is a flyback raster fault, brightness pot cannot be adjusted.
