CT2112 / PERDIO [TV]
The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers
supplies the following faults for CT2112 / PERDIO.
List of fault symptoms:
- U2 and U3 ok but no U1.
- PSU blows.
- Standby LED flashes at power on.
- Black screen. "Halo" in colour on screen.
- Yellow tint in picture.
- Switches off after 3 blows.
- As soon as appliance starts to work it goes into automatic search mode and goes to all the channels without stopping.
- Functions with a discreet decoder but with a syster, frizzy picture and colour flashes.
- TP32 and TP38 S\C at switch on. 300V in CP11 after changing power supply kit but no voltages on secondary.
- At start up, TV displays a line and a point on the display.
- The picture is correct but interference lines appear intermittently.
- No audio. when cold. No picture. when cold. (CT2112 tip from PERDIO)
- No start-up. (with circuit diagram extract)
- LED flashes.
- S/C disappears when D57 (BY297) is disconnected.
- Start up problems.
- TV functions but 90V is at 78V and 108V is at 90V.
- The TV blows now and again then returns to normal operation after one or two seconds.
- No voltage.
- No picture or audio. Bright screen.
- The RP51 resistor burns out.
- There is no more power supply.
- No picture.
- Does not switch to standby.
- BU 508A and RP11 blow. (CT2112 tips)
- No synchronisation.
- Poor tuning of channels and hum in sound.
- Adj B+ not working.
- No functions. (extract of circuit diagram attached)
- Very white screen with lines.
- Switches on by itself.
- Vertical collapse.
- Oscillation of the CD and L54 missing. No SYST U. Base control OK. U1 at 100V. CL54, CL56, TL54, DL57, DL56, IL03, DP51 have been replaced.
- Intense locking on channels 28 to 67. Channels 22 and 25 and VHF function.
