B251 / REVOX [Amplifier]

  • B252 has a software error whereby pressing phone button, -20DB, and volume +, in that order, causes a level difference between channels. A kit of parts to eliminate this fault is available.
  • Noisey volume control. Clicking volume adjustment. Can be eliminated by changing the following components on the volume PCB 1.725.710 C401 and C301 from 10uF to .47 uF.
  • New speaker connectors starting with S/N 3953. New loudspeaker connectors have been installed. New connector is larger, so new back panel is also needed. Output PCB P/N 1-725-841.
  • Distorted audio. only on one channel (intermittently).
  • Dead. Display OK .
