ECK90 / RFT [TV (chassis)]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for ECK90 / RFT.

List of fault symptoms:
  • UHK voltage cannot be regulated with pot R026.
  • Stuck in standby. (ECK90 RFT repair tip)
  • Reduced vertical size at top. intermittently (when cold). (service info for RFT -ECK90)
  • Line output transistor T902 fails immediately after replacement.
  • Dark picture via sat. OSD OK.
  • No picture via SAT. Picture briefly available when switching over from one place to another. OSD und TXT displays (not synchronised) available. (ECK90 tip from RFT)
  • No start-up.
  • Programme via SAT drops out after programming.
  • Horizontal interference stripes in picture, when sound is adjusted to higher level. OK by normal volume.
  • No picture at SAT reception. OSD and sound available.
  • Tuner is knocksensitive.
  • No SAT reception. Dark picture.
  • Line tearing in the whole picture, particularly severe on the sides.
  • No picture. No sound. Strong noise via loud speaker. Display OK.
  • Dead.
  • Vertical jitter and linearity changes.
  • No HV.
  • Poor contrast, can hardly be adjusted.
  • Poor or not start up when cold. OSD program numbers run through.
  • 114V oscillates periodically to 90V.
  • No OSD.
  • Loose contact, interruptions, chassis gets stuck.
  • No picture. Audio OK .
  • Black SAT picture, Sound present.
  • Lines in picture (intermittently). No synchronisation.
  • Reduced vertical and horizontal size.
  • Only 2/3 of the picture width. vertical linearity has folded over at the top.
  • No start-up from standby with RC.
  • Starts up shortly then turns off and no more display or just weak jitter.
