FF433 / SABA [TV (Standard)]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for FF433 / SABA.

List of fault symptoms:
  • No or intermittent start-up.
  • Coloured tinge in picture.
  • Contrast average value is too high. (FF433 tip from SABA)
  • No functions. Standby LED is not visible.
  • Sound fizzles.
  • Vertical line.
  • PSU fails immediately after switch on.
  • Loud noise, if appliance is switched to standby.
  • Line stage does not start up.

  • Vertical picture position shifts intermittently upwards approx 2 cm after switch on. It is OK after approx 10 mins.
  • TP29 fails at switch on.
  • Excessive brightness.
  • Dark picture.

  • Distorted picture. Strong streaking.
  • TL19 fails in line output stage.
  • No colour.
  • Vertical amplitude is too low.

  • Can not be switched on from standby via RC.
  • Does not come on from standby, red standby light comes on. TV01 and TV02 in the protective circuit respond.
