ICC5121 / SABA [TV (chassis)]
The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers
supplies the following faults for ICC5121 / SABA.
List of fault symptoms:
- Protective circuit is activated.
- Protective circuit malfunction.
- Slight picture jitter in vertical sync.
- RC part number.
- Oscillation in band 1 and 3.
- Shuts down (intermittently).
- No picture after switching to TXT.
- Black picture, four lines in centre.
- PSU does not start up, only remains in standby.
- E/W fault. Unable to adjust picture amplitude.
- Occasionally no start up. Protective circuit sets in. No soft start.
- Difficult to start up. RC has to be pressed for a long time.
- Spare part no. info: Power supply repair kit.
- The screen is dark but the sound is present. Red, green and blue horizontal lines appear in the picture.
- Stripes in the bottom part of the picture.
- Double picture in top quarter of the screen. Middle of the picture is darker.
- Thin horizontal stripes on the picture.
- Picture interference at the top and bottom, which changes with the line amplitude.
- Sporadic memory loss.
- Dark picture. No picture content.
- Does not store programmes.

- No start-up.
- PSU does not oscillate correctly.
- Mains switch does not lock on.
- Picture distorted on top. Lines have shifted. Crackle in appliance.

- Picture is too dark - coloured edges on the right.
- No switch on from main switch or via RC.
- Dead. Standby LED is blinking.
- Switches off after operating for a short time. The display is lit up. Picture and sound also correct. After switching on everything goes ok again.
- Bright horizontal stripe at the bottom of the picture.
- 6 to 7 horizontal coloured lines in picture.
- No vertical deflection.
- Transistor TP24 (S2000A) fails after start-up.
- Vertical position does not go high enough. (ICC5121 SABA repair tip)
- Vertical lines slightly oscillates on the top. No improvements when turning vertical control PF02.
- Loud noises from speaker (at switch-off).
- Cannot be switched off with RC. Display shows standby, but picture remains black and white.
- Black raster with red, green and blue horizontal lines. Sound ok.
- No audio.
- Line in picture approx 10cm from top. Other functions OK.
- Colour cuts out occasionally.
- Vertical lines are jagged.
- Intermittent large noise bands. Picture OK via SCART socket.
- Picture is too wide and the appliance switches off.
- Only rainbow effect (picture foldover).
- Noisy and distorted sound. (ICC5121 tips)
- Rainbow effect on lower picture edge, otherwise no picture.
- Distorted vertical lines only on the top.
- Flickering on channel 60 and on special channels.
- Rotating vertical stripes on the whole screen.
