CEP2596 / SANYO [TV]

  • No audio.
  • Attempts to start up, but does not succeed and switches to standby.
  • Vertical collapse.
  • White screen. Flyback lines.
  • No vertical sync. In TXT only page no. visible.
  • Slow response to channel change, takes 20-30 secs to change.
  • No E/W correction.
  • Collapses to a thin bowed horizontal line.
  • SERVICE mode:
  • No start up. Fast tripping. (SANYO - CEP2596 information)
  • Switches to standby. Squealing noise.
  • Doesn't function even if standby LED lights up. When pressing mains switch, attempts to start up but goes to standby. (CEP2596 tips)
  • Unstable picture. Difficulty in tuning. OK with scart.
  • Tuning drifts.
  • No luminance signal. In TXT only page no. is visible.
  • Transistor Q650 (BU508A) is S/C.
  • Corrupted data.
  • R653 continues to fail. (CEP2596 tips)
  • Mains fuse blown.
  • Excessive horizontal size. Pincushion distortion.
  • No picture. No sound. Rattles.
  • Lines in picture. at top.
  • No raster.
  • Unable to switch out of standby when cold.
  • No picture. Audio OK .
  • E/W fault. intermittently.
  • A few colour lines on top of picture.
  • Dead. (CEP2596 tip from SANYO)
  • No function. No red LED.
  • Clock flashing O S G text clock OK.
  • Red, green and blue flyback lines.
  • Q600 blown up.
  • Starts up, functions for a minute and immediately disconnects, remaining in standby.
  • Bright raster. Audio OK .
  • No picture, no sound, just snow when tuning selected.
  • Enter service mode.
  • Reduced vertical size. (service info for SANYO -CEP2596)
  • No HT or tube heaters.
  • Very dark and greyish picture.
  • E/W fault.
  • Vertical folover at bottom and insufficient height. Approx 20cm stripe on centre of screen.
