  • Poor picture. Horizontal lines.
  • The line end transistor SD1577 short circuits at once when the appliance is switched on. Resistors 3620 and 3619 (56R) blow. C2609 has been replaced. No dry joints.
  • All vertical edges in picture are wavelines.
  • No channels. No decoder function. intermittently.
  • No picture. No audio. HV OK. .

  • Line BU heats up and blows. No line transformer or display and R3619, R3620 are burnt.

  • Intermittent interference on channels 5 and 12. Only when changing channels.

  • Approx 5-10 secs after switching ON, image is unsynchronized, after that period all functions are OK. Same problem after each channel switching.
  • 140V can not be adjusted.
  • Picture shrinks and controls no longer adjust sufficiently when warm. Functions correctly for 15 mins when cold. Line transistor overheats and sparks. (picture attached)
  • Picture is blank, appears after several mins with vertical fault (linearity or height).
  • No sound, display flickers (apparently in rhythm of audio signal). Picture is OK.
  • Squeaking line transformer power supply and no HT.

  • Does not stop at channels during automatic search.
  • Light band in top of picture.

  • Crackling from speakers, especially after switch on.
  • Commands of the remote control do not function but operating the appliance manually is ok.

  • Teletext shakes vertically. When switching channels the top of the screen momentarily moves horizontally.
  • No tuning from Band 1 and 3.

  • Incorrect display. TXT and lines disappear.
  • Picture foldover, black striations in picture, especially in high channel range.

  • After replacing defective BUT12 power supply sings for a short time. If you pull out the deflection plug the fault is still there. If you measure for 140V only 13.5V are present. Horizontal power transistor has already been replaced.
