5109 / SBR [TV 55 (51) cm picture]
The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers
supplies the following faults for 5109 / SBR.
List of fault symptoms:
- Colour is too red, green or blue and shows flyback lines.
- Picture has wide horizontal bands which can be intermittent.
- Lines in picture.

- After being switched on a large picture is visible and then immediately after, BU508 fails.
- Replacing the programme selector unit.

- No picture. Rushing sound.
- No switch-on.
- Unstable picture with appliance ticking.
- Dead due to a lightning strike.

- Forgotten resistor can destroy transistor TS7355.

- Connection of a loop system to the TV.
