5110 / SBR [TV 55 (51) cm picture]

  • Dead. LED blinks once.
  • Colour is too red, green or blue and shows flyback lines.

  • Rolling when brightness or contrast is varied.

  • Hiccups and/or loss of sound and picture. Intermittent fault.
  • Vertical synchronization adjustment.
  • No switch-on.
  • Whistling.
  • Tripping when cold. (SBR - 5110 information)
  • The upper edge of the picture is dark.
  • Blank raster.
  • Power supply will not start.
  • No colour.
  • Failure of transistor BF422 (7353).
  • No sound or vision with a screaming noise coming from the line output transformer (the BU508 line output transistor will go S/C if the set is left on for more than a few seconds.
