6611 / SBR [TV 70-74 (66-70) cm picture]
The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers
supplies the following faults for 6611 / SBR.
List of fault symptoms:
- Top and bottom horizontals curve into the middle plus colour fault.
- Blows mains fuse 1-2 hrs. (picture attached)

- Contrast and/or brightness do not function.

- Switches on with 12, all channels are noisy.
- Defective dynamic convergence.

- The picture becomes crooked on the lower side.

- Convergence changes.
- Sound fades after short while.

- Picture rolls in at the bottom or a line appears in top third of screen.
- Two horizontal bands of white dots. (with circuit diagram extract)
- Bowed horizontals.
- Gulps occasionally.
- Either red, green or blue colour difference signal is missing.

- Trapezoid shaped raster.
- Picture is too small./

- New high voltage tripler.
- PSU hiccups with HV and sound.
- BU208 fails continuously.

- Picture grainy and sound noisy.
- Flyback lines or top of picture is shaded.
- Blank raster.
- Dead. 95V supply 15V.
- Various picture problems.
