6618 / SBR [TV 70-74 (66-70) cm picture]

List of fault symptoms:
- Starts up for a short time, then fails.
- Horizontal shift, no colour.
- Replacement of the IC SAF1031P with SAF1039P.
- Width decreases after a few minutes.

- TXT lines are visible in the upper part of the picture. Approx 3cm away from the upper edge of the picture
- Convergence is faulty.
- Thick white lines at the top of the picture.
- The picture is crooked, E/W correction is not possible.
- No or small frame (voltage reading seems normal).
- Blows F601.
- Reduced vertical and horizontal size.
- Gulps at switch off.
- Dead.
- Width, east-west correction and the trapezodal pot(s) do not function.

- Blown chopper.
- Intermittent red, green faces.

- Channels drifting, high band.
- Vertical line in the middle of screen.
- Intermittent pincushion distortion. (SBR - 6618 information)
- No colour (horizontal shift).
- Franjas.
- Vertical jitter. (when contrast high).
- Vertical lines in the blank picture operation.
- K9/K11 band switch.
- Teletext lines on edge of raster (top few lines).
- Low HT.
- Raster dented on the side.
- Outer lines cannot be straightened.
- Intermittent. Gurgles or vertical lines are present.
- No contrast control.
- Power supply ticking, fine if tripler disconnected.

- Luminance lines in the picture, the left hand side is darker.
- Blank raster with flyback lines.
- The picture's width varies and the convergence jumps constantly.
- North/south correction does not function.
- No sync and no sound. OK on empty channel.
- Dark picture, weak colours.
- Only P0 in display. No picture, no sound.
- Repeated power supply failure.
- No horizontal hold.
- Patterning on screen.
- AFT pulls when switch engaged.
- Gulps occasionally.

- No E/W, reduced width.
- Difficulty with grey scale.
- The picture is blurry and then disappears.

- Red, green or blue picture.
- Starts with 12, all channels are noisy.

- Connection of a loop system to the TV.

- Picture width is too low, adjustment regulators do not react.

- Rolling, no contrast and excessively bright picture.
- No vertical deflection.

- Intermittent colour after T500 is replaced.
- Horizontal lines.
- No tuning on some channels.
- Only snow noise is present, no channel number indication.
