- The CTV does not switch on. 2A fuse blows. Power supply circuit is ok.
- HT and EHT come up for an instant at switch on then main HT drops to a steady 30V.
- Connection of a loop system to the TV.
- Deguass/dead/ht shuts down after 2-3 seconds.
- Intermittent net curtain effect.

- Picture becomes dark. After cooling down picture is ok again.

- Torn picture. Noise in audio.
- Difficult start up. If it starts up, picture can be distorted vertically and no functions via RC or front panel.
- EHT does not start up.
- Barrel effect.
- The appliance does not switch on. F3 appears on the display.
- Fuse 1601 blows at start up. Power supply transformer makes a whistling noise. T7599 ok. C2608 and zener 6604 OK. Line transformer ok. Line BU OK. (SBR - 668102 information)
- Dead except line whistle.
- Vertical output IC7570 (TDA3654Q) breaks frequently. (+ extract of circuit diagram)

- Interference of fine parallel grid lines.
- No scanning, the line transformer is ok, fuse 1601 blows at start up. Even if the transformer is disconnected, the power supply starts up. Voltages are ok.
- BUT11 fails.
- Faulty TXT.
- During TXT, faint vertical lines and corrupt text on screen.

- Black screen. 'F3' appears on display.
- When warm, switches off completely or hiccups in the PSU. (SBR - 668102 information)
- Comes on in standby. When switching to a channel, picture and sound start up correctly but appliance switches again to standby after approx 30 secs.

- Thick black bar at bottom of picture. Seems like foldover.
- If TDA3651 or TDA3652 are used as vertical output stage, TDA3653AQ can also be used for 90° picture tubes in case of repair. TDA3654Q can be used for 110° picture tubes. Following changes must be carried out.

- Intermittently line output transformer blows.

- Low brightness with severe Hanover bars.

- Dead except F3 in OSD.

- No demagnetization, no voltage, after 2-3 secs fails again.
- After a few minutes line ripple appears, followed by fading picture and sound.
- Erratic tuning.

- To switch on "Protection Mode" flat square picture tube.
