  • Text processor switches to TEST mode.
  • No synch and no text via scart. Ok via HF.
  • Contrast and colour will not increase.
  • When TV started up, transistor (S2000AF) instantly burn out.

  • Short white lines run through the picture. Background has no picture content. Neither TV sound nor noise can be heard. Picture and sound occur after 10 mins
  • When cold, switches off almost immediately; symptom gradually improves as appliance gets warmer. If brightness is turned down stops switching off. (+ extract of circuit diagram)
  • Horizontal amplitude alignment adjustment.
  • Bright picture. Flyback lines. Switches off by itself. after a few seconds.
  • Appliance breaks down. (25D6F tips)
  • Picture collapses to lines, is reduced and drops out after approx. 1 min operation.
  • If contrast is at maximum, when bright advertisments come up, TV turns off and switches to standby.
  • Vertical collapse. (picture attached)
  • No audio.
  • Switches off after short operation while.
  • Picture crackling at switch on.
  • No UHF mode. OK in VHF mode.

  • C033 (10uF) runs hot.
  • Picture has shifted with approx. 3cm to the right, as if foldover available.
  • No synchronisation. Audio and OSD OK .
  • Colour tint in screen centre after switch-off.
  • No vertical deflection. Frying noise from PSU.
  • Intermittently switches to standby when on for few minutes; then OK when switched back on; click from speakers when switching off. (extract of circuit diagram attached)
  • No start-up (intermittently).
  • Resistor R050 in PSU fails.
  • Picture loss after 30-40 mins. Audio OK. (25D6F tips)
  • Reduced horizontal size.
  • Low power supply voltages which increase when line transformer is disconnected.
  • No audio. OK via SCART . Switches to standby (after a few minutes).

  • No contrast.
  • Switches to standby, can be restarted again. No fault when TXT is activated. (SCHAUBLORENZ - 25D6F information)
  • Poor contrast, almost negative picture, especially via AV.
  • Screen becomes whiter and whiter. Appliance switches off and then goes to standby. Startup and sound are OK.
  • Disable hotel mode.
  • Blows fuse. intermittently.

  • PSU pulsates.
  • Diode VK03 (ZPY 5.6V) is defective.

  • TV does not function. 50V on 120V line, power supply secondaries OK, line transformer secondaries OK, power supply TEA has been changed, standby light is off, power supply BU oscillograms incorrect. (SCHAUBLORENZ - 25D6F information)

  • Failure of line drive transistor VK01.

  • Poor vertical linearity.
  • When using a NINTENDO console, TV does not return to TV mode after putting NINTENDO console into standby.
  • Picture pulls horizontally. OK when warm.
  • Dull picture and lack of luminance, chroma OK.

  • After line transformer has been changed high voltage flash overs in the focus regulator.
  • Coloured menu.
  • Power supply doesn't start up, after restart with mains switch functions OK.
  • Screen has white line across.
  • Switches off by itself. after a few minutes.
  • No sound in the tuner, picture ok. After a moment TV stops as if there was no programme. Does not stop on channels in channel search. Sound ok in scart.

  • Impossible to switch back on again after standby.
  • Horizontal output stage fails immediately. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
  • No start up. When switching off by the switch the front LED lights up for a short time. Restricted lamp and sound present before cut off. Nothing if you insist.
  • Power supply transistor (BUF405A) blown after approx 1½ hrs.
  • Switches to standby. after a while. No start-up. when cold. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
  • Bright picture. Flyback lines.
  • Poor audio. No colour. Picture shifted to the left.
  • Does not switch on from standby with RC. Other functions are OK. May occur after a few days. (extract of circuit diagram attached)
  • Dim picture. after warm-up.
  • Tripping or pulsing. (SCHAUBLORENZ - 25D6F information)
  • Tuning drifts. No TXT.
  • After replacing capacitor C033 it fails again within a few months.
  • When cold, TDA2653A burns out. (extract of circuit diagram attached)
  • Sound calibration alignment - Multinorm Module.
  • Setting U1.
  • No vertical deflection.
  • PSU starts up briefly then no functions.
  • Does not display SECAM standard. Operates ok in SECAM via scart. Functions ok in PAL, selection of standard 2 or 3 ok.
  • Picture has shifted to the left and is black and white. No sound. OSD is positioned correctly, 8362 has been changed.
  • Almost negative picture.
  • Enter service mode.
  • No functions.
  • Power supply collapses. Power supply ok when 26V raster disconnected.
  • Horizontal and vertical holds of both syncs are lost.
  • Impossible to start up from standby. Normally starts up from On/Off switch.
  • Only black picture and OSD after a while. No sound.
  • No function. Standby LED flashes at switch on. No picture. No sound.
  • TV starts up when cold and cuts out after 20 secs then power supply pulsates. Occasionally functions for 1 hour.
  • E/W correction fault. Picture rounded to centre.
  • No picture. OSD OK . (picture attached)
  • Horizontal line, picture dark in AV and can not be switched further.
  • Picture is very blurred and vertical is not synchronised. With a VCR connected to scart picture is synchronised and is ok.
  • When sunlight falls on receiver, remote control does not function.
  • Stuck in standby. Front LED ok at switch on, then standby LED. Front LED and stereo LED flicker successively when tuning in a channel with RC or with front controls. (part of circuit diagram displayed)
  • Loud whistling of the HT when warm.
  • G2 and colour temperature alignment adjustment.
  • Horizontal tearing. when cold.

  • Teletext decoder alignment.
  • Trips.
  • Vertical amplitude alignment adjustment.
  • Resistor RK31 has changed colour.
  • Adjusting the sound.
  • Setting the focus.
  • EHT appears briefly and PSU cuts out.
  • In cold conditions, PSU triggers. Attempts to start, but it blocks.
