54322901 SOLITAERT880 / SCHAUBLORENZ [TV 63 (59) cm picture]

List of fault symptoms:
- Thin black lines at bottom of raster.
- Poor sync, no or unstable sound plus hum bars.
- Vertical stripe intermittently.

- Horizontal and vertical unstable, mostly when cold.
- Drum motor hunts or runs fast.
- Crackling audio. intermittently.

- Line tearing and the top 5 cm of the picture is folded over; unclear picture in general. When warming up tuner with hot air picture becomes normal.

- Darker image at right side, become lighter on left side.
- No start-up. Protection mode activated.
- No sound by mono transmissions or too low. OK in STEREO.
- No sound and a blank raster, the channel display shows rubbish and appliance doesn't respond to remote control commands.
- Narrow stripes approx. 1 cm.
- Fine lines move from bottom to top of screen.
- Colour appears in horizontal stripes. In some bars colour OK, in others no colour.

- No TXT.
- Raster is blank and picture is missing.

- When TV started up, transistor (S2000AF) instantly burn out.
- Line output transistor fails at start-up.
- Vertical deflection incorrect. Approx. 10cm black stripe at upper picture edge.
- At switch on the standby LED comes on then switches off after one sec. The power supply does not start up. S2000 power supply is ok, scanning is ok.
- Venetian blind effect runs through from bottom to top. No reaction to freezer.
- Trips instantaneously.
- Vertical jitter and hum in the picture, only in VHF range. (picture attached)
- No picture. No sound. When switched on via power switch functions accidentally.

- Picture shifted horizontally.
- Occasionally goes into BG standard especially on first channel. Remains in BG standard if channel is not switched over a few times.
- PSU chirps after switch on and appliance does not start.
- Shaky picture at switch on. Picture OK after 5 mins.
- No signal and frame collapse.
- No NICAM sound. FM sound buzzes.
