SVR504SC / SCOTT [Video recorder]

• Eats tape. Shuts down.
• No picture.
• Tape loads but goes into PAUSE.
• Jams when put into REC or PB. Mechanism locks up.
• Dead.
• No tuner video.
• Will not accept a tape. Power light out.
• Capstan problems.
• Can't program channels.
• Goes into PB but picture freezes and then shuts down.
• Channels don't lock in during programming.
• No audio.
• Shuts down in 30 sec.
• PB appears to be in PAUSE mode. Unloads tape.
• Colored bar rolling through video during PB. Audio OK. Tuner A/V OK.
• PB looks like PAUSE, then unloads.
• Intermittent display and functions.
• No PB. (SVR504SC tip from SCOTT)
• Intermittently distorted audio, usually after 1/2 hr.
• Audio won't switch to PB.
• Shutsdown in PB and REC. Eats tapes. Idler OK.
• Shuts down and rewinds.

• Low muffled audio in PB. Low and distorted audio in tuner mode. Slight tuner bleed-through in PB mode.
• No functions.
• Audio low and muffled.
• Sound garbled on EP.
• No eject.
• Pinch roller doesn't go to capstan shaft.
• No display or clock display.
• No capstan rotation.
• No video out.
• Switches off few secs after PB.
• Switches off when EJECT selected.
• Fast PB.
