SG2000N / SIERA [TV]

The EURAS repair tip database for professional technicians and service engineers supplies the following faults for SG2000N / SIERA.

List of fault symptoms:
  • No raster. Horizontal bar in the middle. (SIERA - SG2000N information)
  • No HV.
  • Poor picture after a certain time. Picture OK when cold.
  • Picture fades to horizontal lines. (SIERA - SG2000N information)
  • Dead. Clicking noise. LED blinks .
  • Red LED switches on in standby, but at start-up LED switches off and PSU is noisy.
  • Error codes.
  • No picture. Power LED lit .
  • No picture. Audio OK .
  • No start-up.
  • Red LED blinks.
  • Enter service mode.
  • No start-up from standby.
  • Snow with slight white flyback lines, no OSD and no control possible.
  • Horizontal tearing and intermittent black and white picture.
  • Insufficient blue colour. Yellow tint in picture.
  • Stuck in standby.
  • Line output transistor (2SC5885) keep blowing. Relay click. LED not light after a few secs.
  • Normal picture when cold and then a brighter stripe appears in upper picture part on 10cm, which increases severely when warm.
  • PSU pulsates.
  • No functions. LED flashes.
  • One colour missing.
  • Does not store settings.
  • Squealing from PSU.
  • Incorrect picture geometry.
  • Slow start-up.
  • Comes on for a short time.
  • Poor picture.

With help of this list a solution is found often when SIERA SG2000N fails.
