- Starts up for a short time, then fails.
- Picture width is too low, adjustment regulators do not react.

- Reduced horizontal size.
- Power supply ticking, fine if tripler disconnected.
- No E/W, reduced width.
- Rolling when contrast or brightness varied.
- Striations down sides.
- No horizontal hold.
- No audio.
- Vertical linearity fault. Cramp at bottom of picture.
- Tuning drifts.
- Low HT.
- Occasionally no sound. Sound is too low.
- Intermittent pincushion distortion.
- No tuning on some channels.
- Raster dented on the side.
- Replacement of the IC SAF1031P with SAF1039P.
- Picture and sound have rhythmical interference, even without the station, tuning voltage varies.
- AFT pulls when switch engaged.
- Goes into safety mode.
- Checking the PSU.
- No picture. Sound ok. Contrast is minimal and cannot be adjusted.
- Vertical line in the middle of screen.
- Gulps occasionally.
- Thick white lines at the top of the picture.
- Width decreases after a few minutes.
- Horizontal lines.
- Horizontal sync dropout.
- Gulps at switch off.
- Vertical jitter. (when contrast high).
- Colour flickers until appliance has warmed up. Stabilizes after a while.
- Blank raster with flyback lines.
- No sync and no sound. OK on empty channel.
- 1/2 vertical scan (all volts ok).
- Intermittent. Gurgles or vertical lines are present.
- The power supply jumps. The power supply unit is correct.
- Reduced vertical and horizontal size.
- Channel selector V311 no longer available, will be V317.
- No sound, dark picture (colour or R/C functions may not work).
- Luminance lines in the picture, the left hand side is darker.
- Clatters, crackles, is noisy and the volume control is blocked.
- Channels drifting, high band.
- Patterning on screen.
- Flyback lines are visible.

- No function, there may be a gurgling sound.
- Width, east-west correction and the trapezodal pot(s) do not function.

- No contrast control.

- Connection of a loop system to the TV.
- Vertical lines in the blank picture operation.
- Blows F601.
- No colour (horizontal shift).
- Blown chopper.
- Dead.
- No function. No hiccuping.
- Convergence is faulty.
- East/west fault.
- E/W fault.
- Switches off after aprrox. 1 min.
