VT2002 / TAISHO [Video recorder]

• When switched on the eject motor functions then the VCR goes to standby. Same thing happens each time you press the On/Off key.
• Loads cassette. Loading arms lace up tape and return, then cassette is ejected with tape not wound.
• No FF/REW following tape loading. No tape lacing. Tape is ejected after 2 minutes.
• Arms get stuck.
• Intermittent jamming of gears.
• Does not accept tape.
• No eject.
• Laces and unlaces tape.
• Chews tapes intermittently.
• Occasionally no sound in REC mode.
• The tape does not come out when pressing EJECT. Appliance functions correctly after taking it out manually and jams again at ejection.
• In REW, appliance ejects cassette, tape is unreeled and switches off. Mechanical kit has been checked and changed. All the other functions are OK except REW with picture.
• Appliance breaks the tapes in FF and REW. (service info for TAISHO -VT2002)
• Chews tape when eject.
• Occasionally the tape makes a loop on the reel table side of the receiver and winds around the drum in playback.
• Tape is occasionally ejected during REW and appliance switches to safety mode. Other functions OK.
• Slow REW and FF.
• Tape is stuck in appliance at switch on.
• Intermittently mechanical blocking of the inserted tape.
• Stops when warm.
